Ik not trying to defend him either, but he DOES make a point. I don't know if the orchestration was made in 2002. But if it was, then it simply cant be GnR. A piece of music made in 2002 cant have the label 2001.

True, but what is intresting, is that if u remove the drums guitars, bass, vocal on november rain, it would sound something in this genere! And they said that there would be some new sounds on the album, although it would be very much GNR!
Absolutely - that was my point.
Regardless of what anything thinks about this music, I don't believe someone would have made this quality level of a song, just to fool us. If it's not a Gn'R leak, then it has to be stolen from some other piece of music.

Like I said though, it sounds like snythesizer to me. If it's something Axl wrote, I imagine he would have done it on keyboard first, and then given it to whomever to turn into a real orchestra piece.

I got FFX but I don't remember every single audio track/ song from the game, and I don't have the OST. It does sound similar, but it reminded me some tracks from Metal Gear (the first two on PS/2) and some RPGs like Chrono Cross.
The instrumental and Bucket's solo do sound similar as well, like some parts of the piano intro Axl did before NR on the US leg of the tour.

if anyone has played final fantasy 7, go into the highwind and fly it once it sheds its jet engines.. the music while flying in that, and the notes from 4:03 of this mp3 are identical.. i'm sorry but this is most likely nobuo uematsu's work and not paul buckmasters.. but just to be on the safe side, can anyone with the final fantasy soundtrack please confirm this? i'm 90% certain that this is from final fantasy 7..

Im not really sure...Theres surteen parts where I cal almost hear Axl singing it because it sounds like a GNR song but other parts where it sounds nothing like it and is from a movie...A ver nice piece though...I rather not hear any leaks though i think it would just delay the album longer

why are many of the main people on this board not offering an opinion? Is this real or not? I really want it to be real. I like it a lot. So what up?

now that i think about it, i dont think its from when you fly the highwind.. its either when you're in the highwind, or in the church w/ aeris or something.. but i'm almost certain that its from ff7.. i'm sending the mp3 to a friend of mine who's also a final fantasy freak to listen to and compare the mp3 to his OST..

I really like this "leak" - the musical arrangment is beautiful, but it makes me want to search for crystals
Thanks BP.

I'ts possible that it could speed up the release, but i guess it depends on the reaction it/they get.
If people love it, we may get cd sooner; if people don't care for it it will give axl an excuse to keep working on the music and say "well, it was only a demo"
