thanks BP for putting it up.
it's kinda nice, but well... only time will tell if it's really a gnr-tune.

OK guys I think it
might
be real here is a proove for me:
- Listen carrefully the violons ?from 1.25 to 2.40 from TWAT instrumental version
- Now listen to that Buckethead guitar intro from 1.17 to 1.41 from osaka'02 here:
http://s7.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=11F6XFH68YYU318IFZHZKYO2SN
---> is it just me or does it sound pretty similar? I wouldn't say BS but I remember back in 2002 there were debates about some intros played by the new band before songs. They have always been pretty mysterious. I even PM Gigger a couple of days ago and we spoke about these "mysterious" extracts...
Take it for what it is. It's 50/50 for me. add some electric guitars, bass Axl's voice and drums and it could be real.

Holy shit you just might be right... That guitar solo and the instrumental sound like they could be in the same tune!
Thanks for posting that solo I have the boot but haven't listened to it for a long time. I forgot how beautiful that solo was.

sounds like something out of a videogame to me but i could be wrong. Or somethin out of a movie score, awsome music none the less, if some guitars drums and axls soft voice in that could be a beautifull innovative piece of music
sounds like something queen would maybe do

cool I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who think these 2 extracts sound similar.
Jarmo, Will, Gigger, Mysteron, Darnemus...what do you think?

To me if it doesn't sound like GNR is a good sign cause I expect Cd to be totally different from previous recordings.
Now, regarding this beautiful piece, funny how everybody is lucubrating with the idea that this song could be an Axl's creation based on a few notes here and there. The solo posted by Nesquick sounds definitely like this piece, so does the piano part from 40'' to 1'10" sound like November Rain. Not the same notes, but the same time in between notes, the same note pattern sort to speak.
I have no way of knowing this for sure, but I believe this is the closest thing to a leak we've gotten so far.

Do we know anything else from this mp3? Any other relevant info? If this is "would be the first leak" ithink its intresting, coz that means The stuff on CD is walking throug some stages... And if we get any other leaks in the future, i take that as a sign CD is damn near...! But, i wouldent like a whole song beeing leaked. That would lower my excitment in a way! But clips like this i think its positive, because they are musch more mystic!
Have you ever consider that leaks are beeing planed frome the GNR camp or Recordcompany? To test some of the reactions on the new stuff?
