Great album indeed. I still haven't heard their new album, but will do soon. If you like Death cab, try The Postal Service, it's Ben Gibbard's (Death Cab...singer) side project. It's more electronica oriented, but it's definitely better than Death Cab...The album is called "Give Up".
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll [ick that up tonight.
Just got Gorillaz "Demon Days" I wasnt sure what to expect but was quite pleased. A wide variety of styles that actually blend together nicely from song to song. I'll definitely be looking into their last CD.

Corrosion of Conformity - In the Arms of God
Really good CD from beginning to end. I had completely forgotten about this band since its been about 5 years since their last release. They are back with a vengeance. If you are not familiar with them, and you like Black Label Soceity, go get this CD
Stone Breakers, Paranoid Opiod, and Never Turns To More are the stand out tracks after just one listen

The Postal Service - Give Up. I normally wouldnt listen to this, let alone buy it without hearing a single song. However after Ignatius' recommendations and the reviews I read on amazon, I had to check it out. For some damn reason I really like this frigging CD. "We Will Become SIlhouettes" and "Nothing Better" are my favorites after one listen.
Also picked up the CD singles for "We Will Become Silhouettes" and "Such Great Heights"

I knew you were gonna like them.
Give up
was released in late 2003. Now that
Death Cab
...have just released an album, it may take a while for
The Postal Service
to create another great record. Maybe sometime during the second half of 2006.
