how do you like the crowes and srv? The SRV is still on it's way from an eBay seller, but I've listened to a copy I "borrowed" from the net enough times to buy the album. I got the version with the 2 DVDs, which I haven't seen. I though Amorica was decent my first listen, but it's really a grower. The lack of "hits" may mean that I don't instantly connect to a song I know, but the album is really strong and their most aggressive and heavy, IMO. It also has a darker sound, which is cool.

That's my favorite album from the Crowes. So underrated... Also, my favorite "Crowes" song is in there. Wiser time is amongst my top 20 favorite songs of all time

Agreed there, amorica takes a while to get into but its one of their best albums ever, and something i think they won't be able to top. Hardcore Superstar - Dreamin' in a Casket The Black Crowes - amorica. Buckcherry - Black Butterfly Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble - Live at Montreux 1982 & 1985

I recently purchased Turbonegro's Retox cd. I love it!! Its nice that a band can put out a good fun rock and roll cd without having to take themselves or their music too seriiously. This is a great cd to party and drink to.
