Finally grabbed a copy of Angel Down.  Didn't expect my local Best Buy* to have it, since their online store indicated it wasn't available in town, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the last (only?) copy crammed in near Bachman Turner Overdrive, and far too close to the Backstreet boys.**  In the last few years, whenever I buy something at Best Buy that's not too mainstream (metal, usually), they suddenly get an influx a few weeks later.  I bought one of very few copies of an Amon Amarth album that they had, and then a couple of weeks later they were on AA overload.  I've had it happen with other bands, too, and have often wondered if I was somehow driving the Champaign Illinois metal market with my Best Buy purchases.  I can only hope that this will help get Baz some extra shelf space...and maybe his own little plastic place holder w/ his name on it!

*Store name officially changed in my mind to "Worst Selection"
**Why haven't they been assassinated?

1.Bon Jovi "Lost Highway
2. Prince "Planet Earth"
3.Velvet Revolver "Libertad"
4. Nine Inch Nails "Year Zero"
5. Kanye West "Graduation

I didn't buy a lot of Cds till this year

Seems this year, I've bought more than I normally would have.

The prices dropping to 9.99 definitely helps me want to buy more.

Is it me, or are prices going back up again?  When they first came out, they were nearly always $15 or more, then they fell and a lot were $9.99, and now it seems to be on the rise.

Yeah, new releases at Best Buy used to be $9.99 the first week, but when I bought Angel Down it cost me $13.99.  Maybe that rate just didn't apply in that instance.  The CD was buried in the B section, not in the new release rack or anything.
