You should man, best Deep Purple album in my opinion. It's definitely the first one you should get, then get "Deep Purple In Rock".

And another great, seriously GREAT album , is Made In Japan, Deep Purple is one of those bands that just grows live. They became bigger and better.

Just listened to Heaven & Hell's live album from 2007, awesome!

Not sure what to think of it. The first single is really good, but the album might be a bit too "electronic 80s" sounding...

I also bought Depeche Mode?s SOTU...really liking it, and I don?t really think is 8os dance oriented. It?s pretty dark actually.

The sounds remind me of their early 80s stuff.

I've always preferred the sounds they had since the late 80s.... More guitar based, heavier....

Godsmack-- Their first album; at the time I dismissed them without really ever listening to their music-- asides from 'Voodoo' on the car radio-- for being an Alice in Chains clone. But their first album is really heavy hitting. Its good endurance music.

I recently bought the Heaven & Hell cd. (Second formation of Black Sabbath with singer Ronnie James Deo and Drummer Vinnie Appice).

Very impressive cd. It has the energy and magic of the first entitled Heaven & Hell album and Mob rules. It's got both heavy and melodic songs in the traditional landscape of Black Sabbath. It also has a fresh sound as far as the riffs that Tony and Geezer wrote. (These guys never seem to repeat themselves when it comes to heavy rock licks.)

I bought the Best Buy version which had a DVD included with the cd. The DVD shows them in the studio talking about the making of the cd. It's great to see how these elder rockers are now wise and get along so well with each other. Very good cd.  smoking
