how do you like the crowes and srv?

The SRV is still on it's way from an eBay seller, but I've listened to a copy I "borrowed" from the net enough times to buy the album.  I got the version with the 2 DVDs, which I haven't seen. 

I though Amorica was decent my first listen, but it's really a grower.  The lack of "hits" may mean that I don't instantly connect to a song I know, but the album is really strong and their most aggressive and heavy, IMO.  It also has a darker sound, which is cool.

Agreed there, amorica takes a while to get into but its one of their best albums ever, and something i think they won't be able to top.

I recently purchased Turbonegro's Retox cd.  I love it!!  Its nice that a band can put out a good fun rock and roll cd without having to take themselves or their music too seriiously.  This is a great cd to party and drink to.
