The Hold Steady - Boys and Girls in America. A fantastic, piano & guitar-driven rock album with great storytelling and lyrics...

Isis - Panopticon This band is the apple of my eye! Or something. Anyway, it's my favorite new find since Agalloch, and that's saying a lot

I was at the airport, had packed my discman for the flight but hadn't packed any CDs That's my excuse for buying Madonna's ' Confessions on a Dancefloor' It was ok for a listen during a short flight, but not really worth its money. Albums like this make me appreciate Limewire.

Frameshift- "An Absence of Empathy" (SEBASTIAN BACH HIMSELF ON LEAD VOCALS!!!!)
its really innovative, progressive metal with some crazy vocal harmonies by bach.
amazing, i reccomend it to any fan of skid row, sebastian bach, or someone who just likes good music.

Isis - Panopticon This band is the apple of my eye! Or something. Anyway, it's my favorite new find since Agalloch, and that's saying a lot I love those bands. Especially the new Agalloch album is so great. The last album I?ve bought is Fates Warning - Awaken the Guardian

I've just got turned on to Blue October and had downloaded quite a few of their songs and liked what I heard so I bought a few of their albums. Very good band the more you listen the more it grows on you. I bought Foiled,Argue With A Tree, History For Sale. All very good. Argue is a live album.

Springsteen, Seeger? Sessions.
I've heard bits and pieces of the latest Springsteen album and I didn't really like it. Sounds too "jug-band" for my liking. I loved the previous albums though, The Rising especially is awesome.

Iron Maiden... A matter of life and death.....? ......? not so good......
I bought that when it was released, it's pretty good but I was a little disapointed. Was even more disapointed when I learnt they'd be playing the whole of it live on their tour, with only about 5 old songs at the end of the show. Not happy! I got Tenacious D - "The Pick Of Destiny" and +44 - "When Your Heart Stops Beating" today. They're alright, but nothing amazing!

Fantastic! If you like Scandavian Party Rock with a Glam style in the Backyard Babies vein of things, all their albums rule and this is definately worth checking out!
