Here Today...

« on: March 05, 2005, 05:18:08 PM »

I saw Axl at a restaurant in Century City in Los Angeles............ I wasnt sure if i should go up to him and say Hi - but i got the nerve up and did it.  I was shocked at how friendly he was and he looked amazing.  Like he did on the Use Your Illusion tour.  I asked him about Chinese Democracy and he was totaly up beat.  Said that its going to change the face of music.  He made me believe again.  Im still Freaking out!!!

I don't believe Axl would tell an anonymous fan that CD is gonna "change the face of music". He might tell that to a close friend, but not a fan. And if Axl did say this, he's a moron. If he wants to make waves, release the damn thing instead of constantly talking about it!!!

really? I strongly believe in that album, a fantastic success? It's written. It will be a fantastic success. but I doubt it will "change the face of music". But why not? 2 hours ago I just saw the videoclip "Thriller" by Mickael Jackson...wow...that's what i would call "changing the face of music" Shocked

CD is NOT going to change the face of music!! CD is more than likely going to be a bunch of overproduced ballads. I'm looking forward to it like everyone else, but I guarantee it will not change the face of music.

I'm not implying anything. There's no hidden message. I'm just saying that at least the guy seems to be posting from the same state as the one where he says he saw Axl.

Sometimes we have people on this board who met Axl and they're not even in the USA....

Use your Illusion didn't change the face of music and you think CD will?? Hell, the grunge movement occured right after Illusions. And grunge was very anti-rock. So you can still have a great album and not change the face of music. And to whoever called me a hater: I'm not a hater, just a realist.

killingvector, Let's Go easy on the sick people.

What they say about Axl, GN'R or the album yet to be heard are mere reflex of themselves.
You know, everybody creates their god in their own image.
the virus makes them just too dumb and deaf to anything positive.
