I have two White Zombie TAPES. I'm oldschool... ha ha

All the music sounds identical to me though. Can't say I listen very often these days. It was more of a young kid in the early 90s thing.
I hate Rob's solo stuff. But its cool to see he's still kicking around

Rob Zombie recently told Revolver magazine that he has returned to the recording studio to resume work on his new album, tentatively due in March 2006 via Geffen Records. What follows is a brief question-and-answer session with Zombie conducted by Revolver:

Revolver: Before Ozzfest, you worked on songs with LIMP BIZKIT guitarist Wes Borland, Tommy Lee, and A PERFECT CIRCLE drummer Josh Freese. Will that stuff be on the record?

Rob Zombie: "All that stuff is still there, but now I've also jammed with [ex-MARILYN MANSON guitarist] John 5, [my old bassist] Blasko, and Tommy Clufetos, the drummer I had on Ozzfest. We wrote over 25 songs, but when it gets whittled down to 12 songs, we'll see who's left standing."

Revolver: How will this compare to your other albums?

Rob Zombie: "It's not really industrial at all, but there wasn't much of that on the last record either. One of the songs is by far the heaviest song I've ever done, and there are others that are the mellowest I've ever done."

Revolver: It must be hard to switch your brain back and forth between movies and music.

Rob Zombie: "It's been a strange process, but it's also been great. The new guys I'm playing with are so cool and so easy to deal with. I've been doing this for 20 years, and this is the funnest and easiest it's ever been. And because of that, I feel like this will be some of my best stuff ever."

Never was a fan of White Zombie or Rob's solo material but that's a pretty impressive list of guest musicians on this record.

Perhaps Ill have to check it out, and all those guests will overshadow my disinterest in Rob.

Geffen Records has set a March 28 release date for the new ROB ZOMBIE album, entitled "Educated Horses". The follow-up to 2001's "The Sinister Urge" was recorded at Los Angeles' Chop Shop Studios with co-producer Scott Humphrey and will include 11 tracks ? including an acoustic number called "Death of It All", "Seventeen Year Locusts" and the album's first single, "Foxy, Foxy".

"We were just very inspired this time," Zombie told MTV.com. "It's amazing how different things can be when you work with people who are excited and energetic and just so into it, that they just really inspire you to create things."

ZOMBIE's upcoming tour with LACUNA COIL and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will be his first outing since last summer's Ozzfest, where he headlined the second stage with a band that also included former MARILYN MANSON guitarist John 5, drummer Tommy Clufetos and bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson.

"Before Ozzfest, I didn't have any plans to tour again at all. I was sort of sick of it, truthfully. Everything with my last band started to turn ugly and it wasn't that fun," he explained to MTV.com. "With the new band, I just had such a good time that really, as corny as it sounds, it seemed like the old days ? we're having a band, we're playing and it's just fun. Once being in a band turns stressful, you go, 'What the f--- am I doing?' It was really fun, and we came off the tour and started making a record and it just clicked. The record ... we were like, 'These are the best songs ever. It would be stupid not to finish it.' "

ROB ZOMBIE will direct the video for his new single, "Foxy, Foxy", in Los Angeles in mid-February. Zombie will re-team with "The Devil's Rejects" cinematographer Phil Parmet. Parmet has also worked on LED ZEPPELIN's  "The Song Remains the Same" and FRANK ZAPPA's "Baby Snakes".

"Foxy, Foxy" ? which will begin play on Modern Rock and Active Rock radio on February 13 ? is the first single from Zombie's new studio album, "Educated Horses", due on March 28 via Geffen Records. The follow-up to 2001's "The Sinister Urge" was recorded at Los Angeles' Chop Shop Studios with co-producer Scott Humphrey, who had previously worked with Rob on the platinum hits "Hellbilly Deluxe" and "The Sinister Urge". Other musicians contributing to the CD include Josh Freese (A PERFECT CIRCLE, VANDALS) and Tommy Lee (M?TLEY CR?E).

ROB ZOMBIE will be the featured musical guest on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Wednesday, March 15.

Launch Radio Networks reports: ROB ZOMBIE is known for his spectacular live shows, but he's scaling things back a bit on his upcoming spring tour. Zombie told Launch that he still wants to give fans their money's worth without taking the focus off the music. "What I want to do is make it a big rock show where the human element of the band never gets lost, because I feel like that's what happened before a little bit," he explained. "It was a huge rock show, but the band was getting lost. This time I want to strike that delicate balance where, you know, you're getting the big show, but not to a point where the band becomes secondary to explosions."

Zombie begins a headlining U.S. tour on March 17 in Jacksonville, Florida, with LACUNA COIL and BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE along as support.

The touring line-up for Zombie's band includes longtime bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson, ex-MARILYN MANSON guitarist John 5 and former ALICE COOPER drummer Tommy Clufetos.

Contrary to previously published reports, ROB ZOMBIE will NOT be performing his new single "Foxy Foxy" on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". Instead, he will be debuting a new song from his upcoming "Educated Horses" album, entitled "The American Witch". "Since you've all heard 'Foxy Foxy' I thought a new song would be cool," Zombie explained.
