I don't think he'd ever desire to so I guess it's mute, but there's no way Scott could ever pull off "November Rain."

Nor would he want to.

Is there an echo in here?

Read the first part of the sentence Falcon...  ok

I dont want VR playing any GNR songs, but thats my opinion, if you saw Scott trying to sing Brownstone I think you would know, it is just not the fucking same.

NONE

realisticiallyhe couldnt play hardly any of those GNR songs u guys mentioned

there is no way in hell he could sing the end of rocket queen or my michelle or you could be mine

I think they should in the future distance themselves as much as possible from GNR songs to be honest maybe play Its So Easy cause thats bout the only one that sounds good when they do it.

I mostly agree. There is no singer on the world who could interpret the classic GN'R songs on they way they should be.

i just think if u are gonna do a cover song it should be as good as the original.

doin GNR songs even its so easy, at the end with the high pitched "its so easy, so fuckin easy, its so easy"

when scott does the megaphone it just isnt anywhere close to as possible.

Or even better or you make a very different version of the song (although that's still supposed to be good).

BTW I think that VR's Brownstone and Easy are good covers, very close to the originals.

Erm, why do u ppl believe covers are sposed to be exact reproductions of the originals? That's why they are covers, not tribute songs.

And I'd say they should do Don't Damn Me.  Lyrically, perfect for the attitude of Scott, and it's not that high vocally. Plus its one of the superb GN'R songs, and it would be soooo cool to do a song that has _never_ been performed live by the old band.

i dont think they should do any gnr songs.  it doesn't sound right without Axl's voice, and aren't they always saying they want to distance themselves from their gnr past  rofl

Whoever said Dead Horse, that is 100% Axl's song.. if they played that they would look like fools.   oh wait.

I didn't mean that and I agree with you. I only said that these GN'R covers (tribute songs  Grin) sounded like the old GN'R would have played. But it'd have been strange if Slash & Co had turned Brownstone or Easy to a death metal or orchestra song.

We had this rumour some weeks ago, but was only a rumour. VR playing NR is something that won't ever happen.
