For STP: All of these would sound killer with a Slash solo  ok peace

1. Sour Girl
2. Big Bang Baby
3. Trippin on a hole in a Paper Heart
4. Down

And for GN'R

1. 14 Years- That's one of GN'R finest songs, IMHO, and it would be a real surprise.
2. Locomotive- Scott could pull it off great.
3. Dead Horse.
4. Novemer Rain- Yes, it's an Axl song, but the crowd would go nuts.

November Rain by VR I dont think I have to say anything here  no

The only GN'R song I could imagine VR doing out of you're list is Dead Horse

Those songs from gn'r are about where Slash, Matt n Duff have been not where they are going

I think VR guys have chosen the STP and GN'R songs to do

I think Dead Horse would be an idea, i don't actually think VR should do any more stuff that isn't there's originally, but its only a hypothetical thread anyway.

Maybe they could do 'Since i don't have u' and dedicate it to Axl hihi

STP
Down
Crackerman
Heaven and Hotrods
Sex Type Thing
No Sex or Violence
Silvergun Superman

Gn'R
It's So Easy
Out Ta Get Me
Mr. Brownstone
My Michelle
You're Crazy (slow - but electric)
Don't Damn Me

I think VR could do any of those songs kick-ass.? 2 - 4 a night would be nice, along with a lloonngg VR set..maybe
(and yes I know they do some of these songs, they're good choices for the band!)

Oh and out of the already mentioned songs...

1. Sour Girl
2. Big Bang Baby
3. Trippin on a hole in a Paper Heart
4. Down
5. Days Of The Week,
6. Plush

1. 14 Years
2. Locomotive
3. Dead Horse
4. Novemer Rain
5. So Fine
6. YCBM
7. My Michelle

The only songs I could imagen VR doing from that 13 song list is..Trippin' on a hole in a paper heart (but probably not), down, plush (i guess, but it's so cliche and overrated) and my michelle.

The others just don't fit the VR style, espechally Sour Girl and Days of the Week (way way too much pop for VR) Big Banb Baby (my fave. stp song btw) ,Dead Horse, November Rain, and So Fine...

Double Talkin' Jive, and I've said this before, would be a great song for VR.  Scott's vocals fit this song pretty perfectly.  Unfortunately, and someone tell me if I'm wrong, by law they may not be able to play this song, unless they got approval from Izzy Stradlin, who wrote this song.  Now I know bands, including VR, play cover songs from other bands, but technically are they not allowed to do that?  If they were to play November Rain or Estranged, which are solely Axl's songs, I'm sure Uncle Axl would flip.

Ideally, Id love to see "You Could Be Mine" and "Trippin' On A Hole..."

The likelihood of that happening is very small, so realistically Id like to see "Anything Goes," "Nightrain," or maybe "My Michelle."

On the STP end, Id love to see "Army Ants," "Down," or "Vasoline."  "Big Empty" and "Plush" are unlikely, but equally welcome.

I won't list the songs they already do.  I really enjoy the covers of STP and Gn'R they do in the shows as long as they keep them to about 5 or 6.

STP
-------
Wicked Garden
Plush
Dead and Bloated
Art School Girl
Sour Girl
Trippin On A Hole

Gn'R
----------
Paradise City
Rocket Queen
You're Crazy (Slow Tempo)

I don't think he'd ever desire to so I guess it's mute, but there's no way Scott could ever pull off "November Rain."

Nor would he want to.

I really think that Scott can sing almost all GNR songs and it would be very good...Did you notice in the toronto bootleg how Scott sound very similar to Axl in It's so easy and Mr.Brownstone...

I don't want  VR to play the GNR singles or the most popular GNR songs, I just want something that we didn't heard 100 times live and something that would fit with Scott on vocals...
So here's my wishlist:

STP:

Interstate love song
Big Bang Baby
Sour Girl

(and keep Crakerman and Sex Type thing in the setlist)

GNR:

Double talkin Jive (Scott would nail that one)
You're crazy (Scott voice would fit well)
Dust N' Bones (great song live, it would fit for VR)
Locomotive (would be just great)
You could be mine ( I know it's a GNR single but it would kick ass !)

(and keep It's so easy and Mr.Brownstone in the setlist)

Yeah, I know. That's part of the reason why I would like to see them do it if they are going to continue to do GNR songs.
