Wont this piss Axl off? I mean a current member of GN'R playing with a Former member of GN'R. Its kinda like if your girlfriend or boyfriend go to dinner with an ex.
well .... brain spent the best part of last summer and really all of 2004 with Buckethead laying tracks on Buckethead 4 solo releases and the c2b3 band , not to mention the summer long giant robot tour , of which brain and bucket make up 2 thirds of along with butthouse as their bassist , then later touring a couple months in the fall behind the c2b3 album big eyeball in the sky!
So if Axl was gunna be pissed it's allready happened.
Let's not forget that richard fortus attended a Velvet revolver show last year and was backstage "mingling" with the band according to a member of another GNR forum who was at the show and met and spoke with Fortus. Think Axl was "angry" about that?
It's pointless for Axl to try and , if he even does , control these guys and tell them who they can play with and what bands they can "like" and so on .. it stifles the artist really.
If the whole Bumblefoot fiasco is to be believed then in that situation you had GNR mangement telling Ron Thal he wasnt to speak of slash or any former gnr members in a good light in public. How strange is that?!
