I saw a full page ad in this week's LA Weekly for Bruce and his (17?)-member Seeger band at the Greek Theatre on June 5th.? Maybe you'll visit Cali again??
If no dates for Florida show up soon, I will make my way out for that show.

i always liked him. alot of people say he doesnt have the greatest voice, but he sings with such feeling.
i like the album "Born in the USA", and the song "Born to Run" is easily one of my favorite songs ever, pure magic. i need to get into him more i'm really just a casual fan who owns the album Born in the USA and few other songs.

Love Springsteen. One of the best song writers of our time and one of the best performers too. He puts so much into his live performances and it shows.

Bruce Springsteen's 'Magic' Set for October 2 Release on Columbia Records
'Magic,' Bruce Springsteen's new studio recording and his first with the E Street Band in five years, is set for release by Columbia Records on October 2, 2007. Produced and mixed by Brendan O'Brien, the album features eleven new Springsteen songs and was recorded at Southern Tracks Recording Studio in Atlanta, GA.
'Magic' Song Titles:
1. Radio Nowhere
2. You'll Be Comin' Down
3. Livin' in the Future
4. Your Own Worst Enemy
5. Gypsy Biker
6. Girls in Their Summer Clothes
7. I'll Work for Your Love
8. Magic
9. Last to Die
10. Long Walk Home
11. Devil's Arcade
'Magic' is the first new studio album by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band since 2002's GRAMMY Award-winning, multi-platinum, number one album 'The Rising' (Columbia Records), which was also produced by O'Brien.
Bruce Springsteen's longtime manager Jon Landau said, "'Magic' is a high energy rock CD. It's light on its feet, incredibly well played by Bruce and the members of the E Street Band, and, as always, has plenty to say. It's also immensely entertaining. 'Magic' is the third collaboration between Bruce and Brendan O'Brien and is a culmination of their very productive creative relationship."

Never bought into the whole blue collar Bruce Springsteen. He's a fraud in Rock. I can listen to some songs but never got into his whole persona and or music. It's all a matter of taste I guess. I have a lot of friends who were really into him but that was 20-25 years ago.

Super stoked to hear that the E Street Band will be included on this one. I for one got kind of tired of the whole Seeger Sessions bands........as much as I like good ole grass roots music....it's kind of pointless when you have a fucking 35 piece band playing them.
As for Springsteen's blue collar persona.......that was really only portrayed on "Born in the USA" which was probably his only "Commercialized" album.............if you want pure Springsteen Atlantic City, Boardwalk rock go 'Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ" up until "Born to Run". Then if you want an all around listening experience with everything from ballads to rockers to pop go listen to "The River". Drive All Night still makes me get goosebumps when I hear it.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Dead on... You may not like his music, but never call him a fraud... His one of the few artists who has remained true to himself and his music, never selling out
And he still makes great, relevant music

For those that consider themselves casual fans, go buy "The River". I think the songs are sung better today, but it is a great example of his amazing song writing.
