That is interesting!!! If they win Axl will be forced out of his cave to receive the award
and then go back and hide for the rest of the year.
His speech will be: "thanks for the award although GH wasn't our choice and i will probably anounce the release of the CD in the Following months"

the foundation has been set for GNR as a has been band, that's what I hear from the kids in high school. They tell me VR is cool, I tell them GNR is coming back, they laugh and tell me Axl's finished, and like always I defend him and say we'll see who's finished. That would be great if cd comes and awards were given. the old man on the block would be right!

Do NOT get your hopes up. This is the biggest and most important german music award - but it still is JUST a GERMAN music award. I know we are a big market for the music industry as long as you just look at the sales - but those shows are very, very ... provincial. They are pretty boring and filled mostly with acts that would be considered as 2nd league in a worldwide comparison.

It's as likely to see Axl at the opening of the first WalMart in Munich as to see him at the Echo Award...
