I have a 1994 tama rock star but Im keen to get a new kit n Ive always loved matts sound, so what do yous think are a better drum DW or Yamaha?

I'm not a drummer but one of my friends, who is a drummer, told me that Pearl and Yamaha make the best drumsets, I don't? really know though Huh I think Matt used Yamaha's when he was in Gn'r ok

I nearly got a mapex V series but the tom drums are to small and thats why i dont want a new tama or pearl.

Does anyone no much about DW?

Matt played Yamaha with GNR and now DW with VR.  If you want good quality drums for a good price, go for Yamaha.  I have a Stage Custom Advantage and it kicks some serious ass.  If you have money to spend, buy a DW.
