I don't consider any of the current band members a part of Gn'R (except Axl) and I never will no matter how good CD is.
Gn'R was Axl,Izzy,Slash and Duff and now Gn'R is Axl, those other people will only ever be replacments in my eyes. If you asked me how many members were in Gn'r at the moment I would say one, Axl Rose. I'm not saying I hate the new members but no matter how good they are they'll never replace the original Gn'R. I felt this way about Matt and Gilby aswell.
If I was in Axl's shoes I sure as hell wouldn't want people continuosly asking me about CD but if no one asks Axl he will lose track of time and no one will ever get to hear CD, except Axl?

Back on topic:   I knew Robin before he joined GNR of course.  But the others much less so.  The only reason i would think of going to see them if they toured near by is for the GNR interest.  So they are feeding off the GNR fame somewhat.  So it's not too much for them to answer peoples questions regarding the band they are in. Normally in bands that isn't a big deal but a blessing.

Hey i got it along time ago believe me. I'm not some kid who treats these people like fantasy figures.? I realise they real people who create great music and at the end of the day that is what i am interested in.?

Telling people to get over it is like telling people to get over Zepplin, Queen, Hendrix.? Even when they don't exist anymore their music does and will for aslong as people listen to music.? The same with the GNR that created GNR. In the music fans eyes they made incredible records and were the biggest band on the planet.? And for that reason normal people will always think of the original reasons they enjoyed a certain band. SO some people will always love the original band because that band changed peoples worlds and made this incredible music.

Of course things move on but people are still buying Sgt Pepper some 40 years on just as they will? still be buying Appetite and Illusions, because they are such great pieces of music. Thats it.

And you use the term holding on?? As far as me enjoying the music that Slash and Duff create?? I really dont see music in that way i am interested in these guys because i think they are great musicians.? I have followed them for along time and that is non of your business what people choose to believe or are interested in.? Those guys - doesn't matter how much you want to knock them - it's a waste of your energy noone else'. They are still doing what they enjoy and have something great going on at the moment which normal people outside of GNR fanbase are excited by.? ?They are making great music and totally rock when they play live i have been there and seen it for myself, have you?

You might be right if you had said i was holding on to Axl because yeh i think we all are - let's be honest.? But even then i am just interested in the music, i want to hear what he's been doing for 10 years.? Not interested in who's better than who. I actually saw two shows with my own eyes in 2002 in the UK and have most of the 2002 shows. I have not knocked BH's playing at all, he is a shit hot guitarist no doubt about it. See i don't have to rubbish a person to make my opinion.?

If you read what i had said propperly, what i am saying is,? he was playing Slash's work - bar for a couple of new songs, which don't have that much guitar work to compare with the likes of Jungle, SCOM or Estranged.?

I have not heard BH's solo work, so you may know more than i do about his ability to write. But in the context of GNR...well he has already come and gone and to be honest i doubt many people will know or care outside of? the fanbase.? ?Unless he comes back... well your holding on to something that doesn't exist anymore - as much as anyone else is.

  I can't believe what  u say! ...  B .H is a hero n' no matter that he's gone forever  cuz he'll be famous more than ever cuz there are a lot of shows in audio  recording/video recording which'll  make us remember that  B. H played for gnr n' that' ll be a great legend to remember always!....i  honestly say  B.H  gave to the band a better style n'  it's better more than Izzy or Slash could give before, anyway B.H will be exist into our memories for life
