It seems that just having them back was good enough before, but now it seems people are either frustrated or plain old tired of it.

New material is desperately needed.

Agree/disagree?

I think people actually like the old stuff more than ever now, because today's new rock is so terrible.? People were obviously pretty eager to hear VR based on Gnr's old material and reputation.? Songs like Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City, November Rain, and Welcome to the Jungle will always be well known and appreciated if you ask me.  That's not to say, though, that people are not eager to hear new music from them.?

Wasn't it last week that we had a thread about whether or not GN'R were considered cool again by the public?

Thanks 2 those who went 2 Mustang Harry's on May 12th. That made my first concert experience something I'll never forget. Never did I feel like I fit in anywhere as much as I did amongst you strangers

It's only the fans that notice these things, you know. No one else cares.

exactly.. to most people who arent fans, gnr is a band that used to be great in their prime but axl fired everyone and turned the name of the band into a joke.. at least that's what everyone i've talked to seems to think  Undecided

I dunno, I see a lot more people listening to GNR and other great bands, and its unanimous that almost all modern rocks crappiness almost drove them too it. Good news for me though, GNR deserves to be heard.
