please everyone do me a favor

no axl bashing when he isnt at the superbowl

he never said it, never confirmed it

so dont have high expectations tonight

if it were to happen it would be the greatest thing ever but im not betting on it

can u imagine however axl's LALD screams? holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all those naysayers who say he cant sing anymore would shit their pants!!

over 90 million people reportedly watch the superbowl worldwide

that would be some damn good exposure

 peace

I always thought that smiley was someone crossing their fingers, not peace signs, but over here I've been doing the finger crossing and whoever said we're not that frail anymore is right. We'll get through this, ha.

To any one in the U.S.A! Has there been any rumours on your television or radio throughout the day as to whether this actually may happen tonight?Huh I am not expecting anything but its kinda like the VMA's in 02, we heard the rumour in the U.K and me and other Guns fans were thinking yeh right! But it happened!! So I've kind of got this hope thing going on for tonight! It will also be my first game of watching your funny football! Is the game any good???

I think the only reason why they wouldn't have announced the gig is that they think he's not gonna show up. I'd say the chances of such a suprise gig are 1 in a million, even less... but we'll see in a couple of hours.

He's probably at home watching the SB and doing this: ?beer ? smoking ? yes

Surely.  Again I bet Axl won?t be there to perform. To watch, I thought of their being there as even odds but the spread of this story shorten the odds now.

Whether we win or lose, we have fun and games. peace

Im hoping theres a commercial for it or something  ok  I think theres a better chance of that then GNR actually performing.

I agree - I am hoping for an announcement or advert with release date (this is highly improbable I realise).

There is no way Axl or guns will be performing - a nice idea but absurd for many reasons

I haven't heard anything except what I've read on this board.?

There probably is a better chance of a commercial, but I really don't think so.? Superbowl commercials are very very expensive.? I can't believe they would drop that much money on one advertisement.? But the commercials are usually entertaining anyway, so no harm in watching if you've got nothing else to do.

How long after the superbowl is over before we start speculating about the Grammys??

over 90 million people reportedly watch the superbowl worldwide

that would be some damn good exposure

I think 900 million is more like it...  ok  Reportedly 145m in US alone.

Now how's that for esxposure?  Wink

900 m ? Impossible,  not even the NBA gets that kind of ratings, and nobody really likes the super bowl outside the USA, Maybe they are broadcasting, but nobody's watching  Grin

I can name at least 50 nba players, I can't even name one NFL player.
I don't know about the US, but the NBA is bigger worldwide.
