A mixed show.? The first 2 fights were fairly dull,
Machida
's fight got going near the end but was dull mostly as was
Kongo
's.?
Bisping
's fight was great to watch, he totally dominated
Elvis
in the 1st Round and it was nervous watching the 2nd round when he went down and i could of sworn that kimura was on, good to see him recover and win in style.? The next fight was fairly dull as well i'm not a kickboxer and therefore i like to see more ground stuff, but obviously i love seeing awesome knockouts, i hate it though when someone clearly plays for the decision win and doesn't get stuck in,
Arlovski
's fight was a "tactical" win, smart...yes, boring...yes.? The Main Event though, WOW, it featured one of the best and most shocking knockouts ever,
Cro Cop
, knocked out with a kick to the head, and the way he fell down, i was surprised to see him standing it looked like he could of fucked his ankle and knee.

The following is a message from NathanQuarry.net, the official website of UFC fighter and Ultimate Fighter season one veteran Nate "The Rock" Quarry:
I?M BACK . . . I AM SO BACK. THE PAST FEW YEARS HAVE BEEN A REAL JOURNEY - THE JOY OF VICTORY AND THE AGONY OF DEFEAT. AFTER FIGHTING FOR THE UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE IN NOVEMBER 2005 I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A POTENTIALLY CAREER ENDING BACK CONDITION. I UNDERWENT A RADICAL NEW SPINAL SURGERY, GOT SOME PARTS REPLACED AND NOW I?M THE BIONIC MAN - BETTER THAN I WAS BEFORE . . . BETTER, STRONGER, FASTER.
I?LL BE FIGHTING IN THE UFC AGAIN VERY SOON - WHEN I HAVE DEFINITE DATES, I?LL POST IN ON MY WEBSITE AND SEND OUT A BULLETIN ON WWW.MYSPACE.COM/ROCKQUARRY. ADD ME TO YOUR ?FRIENDS LIST? ON MYSPACE AND YOU CAN GET MY INSTANT UPDATES. WHEN I GET BACK IN THE OCTAGON LOOK OUT - I?LL BE THROWING SOME ?ROCK? HARD PUNCHES WITH MY CONCRETE FISTS.
TO MY FANS - I READ EVERY EMAIL THAT YOU SEND - YOU INSPIRE ME TO GO THE EXTRA MILE. I WISH I COULD RESPOND TO EVERYONE PERSONALLY, BUT I KNOW YOU?D RATHER HAVE ME TRAINING AND NOT SITTING AT THE COMPUTER. WHAT I?LL DO FOR YOU GUYS IS CHOOSE THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS AND ANSWER THEM IN MY MYSPACE.COM/ROCKQUARRY BLOG. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
-NATE ?ROCK? QUARRY
Great news, it will be good to see him back...

Pride has some good fighters but haven't seen any of them translate to the UFC that well.

Smith, Herman to Battle in Belfast on June 16th
Middleweight prospects Scott Smith and Ed Herman will try to further establish themselves in the competitive 185-pound weight class when they square off in a preliminary bout on June 16th?s UFC 72 card, which will be held at The Odyssey in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
UFC 72: Victory, is headlined by the middleweight bout between former UFC champion Rich ?Ace? Franklin and versatile Danish contender Martin ?The Hitman? Kampmann. Tickets are on sale now.
Best remembered for his all-out war with Pete Sell at The Ultimate Fighter 4 finale last November, Scott ?Hands of Steel? Smith will look to repeat that spectacular knockout victory when he steps into the Octagon on June 16th. To do so, he?ll have to come out throwing bombs with the abandon that has made him a fan favorite in the California area and which has allowed him to compile an impressive 13-3 MMA record.
A finalist from season three of The Ultimate Fighter whose performance in a razor-thin loss to Kendall Grove was so impressive it garnered him a UFC contract, Ed ?Short Fuse? Herman (14-4) will bring an aggressive style and a hunger for victory into Belfast as he tries to keep the momentum from his January submission win over Chris Price going against the hardest puncher he?s faced in the UFC thus far.

That card is rotten, just because it's outside America, can't they put an effort on.
I mean UFC 70 only had 2 good matches and that had zero title matches to.
These events are looking like one step above Fight Night but one step below a REAL PPV.....

Anderson SIlva, the same guy who was THIS CLOSE to getting arm barred by a C level fighter in Travis Lutter.
Pride have some great fighters but they dont elbow in Pride so that makes it a lot easier being on your back.

In
PRIDE
you can stomp and use soccer kicks, whereas you can't in
UFC
so thats changing several scenario's as well, don't forget what happened when
Chuck
&
Ricco
went to
PRIDE

Chuck is 2-1 in Pride... After he scores a first round KO of Rampage I want to hear what the Pride argument is going to be.
