You see i thought Ortiz was like unbeaten and the best basically but then my friend put me right. I take it Chuck battered Tito then?
He beat him yes, but, well, i'll let
D
explain it.....
So if you were a betting man would you back Tito in the next fight?
Yep and i am.
So why's that. What do you think he'll do differently. Coz its quite rare for someone to lose and then win isn't it
Because
Tito
is the better fighter and much more mature now. He could of beaten him last time, but he tried to beat him at his own game (Stand-Up), rather than taking him down for ground and pound. Plus if you are being picky, as
D
says,
Chuck
did accidently poke
Tito
in the eye which led to the subsequent knockout.

Yep it was, just seen it here in the UK and like i've said before don't worry about talking about the results, i purposely stay out of this thread until i've seen the event.
To sum things up, cardio is so important,
Penn
was so fucked 3rd round he could not even get his guard up.....
.....As for
Hughes
next fight, i would rather see him fight
Diego Sanchez
.

Welterweight up and comer Jon Fitch will make his first live UFC television appearance on Saturday, October 14, when he faces Japanese star Kuniyoshi Hironaka in an intriguing 170-pound matchup at UFC 64, which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Fitch, a member of the AKA fight team, is currently 3-0 in the Octagon, with wins over Josh Burkman, Brock Larson, and most recently, Thiago Alves. He?s in tough again against Tokyo?s Hironaka - who owns victories over UFC vets Nick Diaz and Renato Verissimo - and he knows it.
?I think the UFC likes to give me tough opponents,? laughs Fitch. ?He is a solid fighter all the way around - very good on the ground with solid standup. I have my work cut out for me on this one, but as always, I fight like a thief - if you leave a window open I will crawl through it and make you pay.?
Also added to the UFC 64 card, which is headlined by the middleweight championship bout between Rich Franklin and Anderson Silva and the lightweight championship contest between Sean Sherk and Kenny Florian, is a light heavyweight matchup between ?The Ultimate Fighter? veterans Keith Jardine and Mike Nickels, and a lightweight bout pitting UFC newcomers Clay Guida and Justin James against each other.

I hope I dont have to put up with an other Shamrock fight again anytime soon. Frank is ok, but Ken is a Bitch.
It was actaully nice to see Ken eat some crow after this match and not make up excuses for the loss

Chuck beat Tito but........
First round was even
second round Chuck poked Tito in his eye, when Tito grabbed his eye the Ref didnt stop it to let Tito recover like they did Matt Hughes against Bj Penn. Instead the match continued and Chuck unloaded about 12 shots on Tito and knocked him out.
Up until the eye poke Tito was holding his own.
I also would like to point out that this was only Tito's 2nd fight in over a year and a half so he was kind of rusty and wasnt in top form.
Now he has fought 3 times this year so he will be sharp and on top of his game.
Plus back then he and Chuck were friends and he wasnt too thrilled having to fight him.
He also got heavy into tryin to be a movie star and all that bullshit back then as well.
Now he is 100 percent dedicated to fighting and this one will be a great fight.
Tito has a good chance to win. Chuck also has a good chance to win, so its gonna be up in the air as to who wins.
Tito is my hero so of course I am picking him.

I cant believe that Rich got absolutely owned, i was totally shocked but so excited by Anderson Silva. That guy looks to have it all! Man...he broke Franklins nose after bashing his body to shit. Brilliant stuff!
Great performance by The Shark as well. To go through that match losing that much blood, you really need to take your hat off!

The UFC's heavyweight division is so watered down it is a joke.
Silva is the man. He is probably the best in is weight division in the world, right now.
The Shark? This guy is like a ball of muscle. But there is no one left in the UFC for him to fight.. Thanks the pelver being a punk. Gomie is the best lightweight in the world by far. Sherk should go over to pride and fight him.

Joe Daddy Stevenson has dropped down to lightweight and if u saw what he did to Yves Edwards, U would know that Sherk has plenty of comp from Stevenson.

Ya I saw it, so the guy can elbow. He has a pretty good record. But he is like most of the UFC guys, borring as hell to watch. I hate the ground and pound. I hate elbows. Winning a fight because of a cut, big deal.
Fact is the UFC is so watered down. They have no heavyweights and lightweights. Mabey Penn could move down in weight, that would be ok.
There Lightheavy weights are great and so are the welterweights, but my too fav divsions is the lightweight and heavyweight. Or Open weight, which is the best.
If Penn does move down in weight and is motivated, he would kill sherk

According to the official website of the UFC, The Ultimate Fighter 3 Light Heavyweight winner Michael Bisping will not be making his non-TUF debut for the company at this coming weekend's Ultimate Fighter 4 live finale show as originally scheduled.
Bisping, who was set to fight Eric Schafer in the main event, is off the listing of the matches on the UFC.com website. Early rumors indicate the issue causing his removal from this card is getting a visa to come into the country from England.
That sucks

Just seen the
Ultimate Fighter Finale
, boy it sucked.
Riveria
's fight was stopped too soon, his punches weren't making contact or doing any damage....
Anyway the series went downhill so the only fights that really served any interest to me were the finals, especially
Serra
's since i am a big fan of his.
Lutter
's fight was quick and the guy was impressive, he's still gonna get battered by
Silva
though. The
Serra
vs
Lytle
fight was so boring and how one judge can score it 30-27 in favour of one guy and another can score it 30-27 in favour of another is behind me, i'm glad
Serra
won though i felt it was the right decision, he kept
Lytle
up against the fence and was the more aggressive, sayin' that jack shit of what he did had any effect.....
....Serra doesn't stand a chance anyway whether he faces
Pierre
or
Hughes
.
