no the guy from my highschool is the other Alex, he lost to Diego in the 4th episode.
I would love to see what a larger network could have done with it, as far as production value.

Thats still great, Diego will more than likely win the entire thing, so definitely no shame in that.

Hell yeah dude!
what a fuckin fight!
I thought Forrest won and it was great they gave both those guys contracts.
the striking was pretty much even, maybe a slight nod to Stephan however Forrest had more take downs, reversed Stephan's only take down, was the stronger fighter, everytime they locked up Forrest slung him wherever he wanted
also Forrest was the ring general as he got Stephan *who is a much better technical grappler* to fight his kind of fight.
Kenny Florian had no business bein in the finals, he got lucky over Chris Leben with that cut and got destroyed by Diego Sanchez
Ken Shamrock, had he kept his balance wouldve won over Franklin
Are u watching UFC on PPV saturday?
Frank Trigg vs Matt Hughes will be a war plus Randy Courture vs Chuck Liddell will be one for the ages.

dude hell yeah I'm watching the ppv this saturday
Kenny Florianwas really out of place taken on Diego Sanchez, but I was exspecting that to happen .
Frank Trigg vs Matt Hughesis going to be a war that I'm vere much looking fowarded to watching .
I hope that Randy Courture kicks Chuck Liddell's ass. but I think it willl be a pretty good fight.
I think we will see a Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar rematch down the line hopefully

Hmmm....I agree that both Forrest and Stephan deserved contracts after the fight but I don't think either of them, or Diego for that matter, will be major sensations in the UFC.? They might have been the best from that group in the series but, sooner or later, I think all three will have their asses handed to them in the octagon.?
I don't know what Shamrock was thinking.? Being "multi-dimensional" in your fighting is all fine and good but what he did was just stupid.? Ken Shamrock throwing a high kick?? Give me a break.? Franklin didn't throw him off his game, Shamrock just chose to abandon it.
And I don't care what Mr. Fear Factor Joe Rogan says.? The Shamrock of ten years ago was beating guys better than Franklin with relative ease. He also would have finished a guy like Franklin with that first ankle lock!

there is some speculation around the fight world that Shamrock "Did the job" so to speak
he fought very stupid, not like Ken SHamrock normally would fight.
Forrest and Stephan will be fighting the chuck liddells,Tito Ortiz's and Randy courture's
they have no chance against those guys.
Diego has a better chance because he is lighter and will fight lesser comp at 185 than stephan and forrest will face at 205
hopefully they will join some good teams and get a lot better
Nate Quarry, the dude from the show who got injured won an undercard fight in just over a minute and has been helping Randy Courture train for Chuck
Nate wouldve won the middleweight easily had he not got injured. he can do it all and u will see him in the UFC. I guarantee it.

What do you mean by "do the job?"
As in Shamrock intentionally threw the fight?
I don't know, that would be tough to believe. He doesn't like to lose. Under any circumstances.

i dont believe it, but a lot of people are speculating on a lot of fighting websites.
Shamrock throwing a kick like that just isnt SHamrock and he got that ankle/heel lock and Franklin got out, usually if Shamrock gets your leg its over.
I think Ken should keep fighting, i mean he beat himself that fight, Franklin got lucky, had shamrock not fell down he wouldve won.
see Shamrock will always be a draw and a legend but by Franklin winning he is now elevated up the ranks and will now be a more known and bankable fighter.

Nate was pretty overpowering last Saturday, but the most dominating preformance was Swick... he won in like 30 seconds over Alex S.
I think Swick and Quarry have the best shot at being successfull middleweights in the UFC, I think Diego and Koscheck should consider cutting to 170 (they both claimed they can on saturday)

I agree, at 170 they would be tough however 170 isnt really a glammer division
at 185 they'd have to fight the Phil Baroni's, Evan tanner's and Robbe lawler's of the UFC. they arent good enough strikers but i think Diego could do ok.
josh Koscheck is an amazing wrestling and takedown specialist. if he will train and get a little better with submissions and strikes, i think he'd be very dangerous.
dont underestimate Diego Sanchez, he looked very very impressive.
Of course they arent gonna win Titles in their first fights but give them a year or so training properly with a good team and i think they will be right there.
if they get to 170, they have Matt Hughes,Frank Trigg and guys like that, i think Hughes is better than any of the 185 pound guys by far.

I wish we had this show on British TV.
We just get rehashed old UFC programmes...however we are getting UFC 52 a couple fo days after it airs live which is cool. Plus we dont have to pay for it!

Diego looks good, but he fought 3 people who weren't fighting their natural weight (Alex K. (170) Josh Rafferty (170) Kenny Florian (155)) and Josh Koscheck who hasn't harnessed his striking (although he looked real good last saturday in Vegas)
We didn't see the best fighter on the show Compete (Nate Quarry) and Mike Swick fought a weight class up from his natural weight (185).
Although Hughes is arguably better than anyone at 185, Diego and Koscheck would be that much stronger than the competition if they cut weight down. If you see diego in person he has alot of room to cut wieght.

I got 7 out of 8 fights correct tonight in my predictions including Chuck Liddell over Randy courture, chuck knocked his ass out!
only fight i missed was Patrick Cote vs whoever he fought, Cote had him but screwed it all up.

last night ppv was good their were some really good fights.
Matt Hughes pound for pound is probably the best fighter in the UFC.
