dude i hate chuck lidell
he is such a hater and i thought it was hilarious when Tito talked shit about him and he came in the ring
i cant believe one judge gave belfort the decision
Tito clearly won that fight pretty easily i thought.
couture will destroy chuck though
and i dont know why Shamrock was running his mouth, Tito beat him worse than ive ever seen anyone get beat in the 10 years ive been watching the UFC.
i cant wait till Frank Mir comes back, did u see when he broke Tim Sylvia's arm? that was some nasty shit.
Phil Baroni man, i love that guy but what was he thinking?
he beat his opponent for 3 rounds and then got caught in a bullshit guillotine choke.

Chuck gets on my nerves to. Which is going to make the 16th of April all the more enjoyable when Couture kicks hiss ass again .
I pray to God Ken isn?t thinking about fighting Tito again ,if it happens it going to be a slaughter again.
Frank Mir is is a fucking hell off a fighter ,that Sylvia's arm break was some nasty shit.
Phil Baroni fight was crazy. He shouldn?t have tried to play it safe cause it came back and bit him on the ass

There are some awsome fighters in the UFC.
But there will always be only one #1.
And that's Royce Gracie.
Period.

Royce gracie wouldnt stand a chance in today's UFC
Royce was awesome cause at that time he was one of the few UFC guys who knew grappling
now everyone is just as good at it as he is.
if he fought in the UFC right now he wouldnt dominate or beat the top guys.

Is Bob Sapp still in the UFC? Just curious, cause he's the only guy I know in this crazy sport.

I checked out the UFC #51 on Bravo on sunday , kinda a step into the unknown for me. I liked that Evan Tanner guy. I only had heard of Ken Shamrock and Tank Abbott before but im interested in seeing another card.
Any event you would recommend to me?

Well
right now
, Gracie isn't at his prime anymore.
But back in the day?? Hell yes!
Remember Ken Shamrock?? Shamrock was probably still better technically, as well as just as big physically, than most or all of the top guys in the UFC today.
And Royce beat him in their first match with an ankle-lock.
Their second match was a draw, and Shamrock got a good punch in on Gracie's face, but even Shamrock couldn't submit him...even though he would later
act
like he did.
Bottom line, even a lot of these grapplers still rely heavily on their size and strength.
None of that was ever a factor for Gracie.? He'd just beat 'em with sheer
technique
.

did u see the brutal beating Tito Ortiz gave Ken Shamrock when they fought?
someone like Randy Courture would have no problems with Royce Gracie
all of em are good evolution
i recommend watching Tito Ortiz,chuck lidell,randy courture,vitor belfort
theres one called the ultimate ultimate which features Tank Abbott and some of his unbelievable battles
rent any of em, all are exciting.

Royce Gracie was good in his day,but the UFC has changed to much since then . Now wvwebody is almost a mat expert .Plus Gracie could just sit their on the ground a wait for they guy to make an mistake cause the refere will stand their ass?s up.

Fucking love UFC....been downloading loads of old matches...been watching bravo as well for the reruns they have.
Belfort has such fast hard hands..
Liddel is a lunatic.(and scares me)
Ortiz is my personal current fave....The Orginal Huntington Beach Bad Boy!
Id love to see Ortiz take on Liddell again.
Also bring back David "Tank" Abbott, he had a punch on him...getting on a bit now though.
Frank Shamrock, wheres he?
Also...Whoever asked about Bob Sapp??...i dont think he did many UFC if any matches, he did a few PRIDE matches and as far as im aware hes still in Japan Wrestling and doing K1.
You can download his match with Kimo(a UFC legend in his own right) from most P2P networks, from Japan...its very controversial though but there are some MASSIVE punches from both!

Bob Sapp is a K1 fighter, he's a huge dude but has no chin at all, basically he sucks
Frank Shamrock i have no idea
they brought Tank back for a few fights and he got destroyed in 2 of em by cabbage and Kimo, i think he won his 3rd and final fight, i cant really remember, but he is finished as well.
the sport has evolved way too much for guys like Tank Abbott, guys know how to shoot for take downs now without taking punishment so he couldnt compete against the top heavyweights.
the next event will feature Lidell vs Courture, the winner will fight Tito Ortiz
if anyone watches the Ultimate FIghter TV show we can discuss that here also.
if anyone gets FoxSportsNet they show UFC matches from past events for free on Sundays, check your listings if u get FoxSportsNet

I'm actually going out to Vegas for the Live Final of "The Ultimate Fighter"
The main events are the middleweight and light heavyweight finals, but I think all fighters from the show are participating.
If I can take that extended time off I am staying for UFC 52 which is the next weekend.
I can't wait..........
