I guess Mick Wall at kerrang isn't the unique stupid guy in this shitty publication. this "journalist" needs to be fired....so does the editor, director, etc etc.

Maybe it would be more fun to show them how it should be done? I'm sure there's enough people on the board with the knowledge and creativity...

and what about this new ballad called november rain or something like that Huh    ............

I can`t believe that this article is in the new issue of kerrang Undecided

That`s really poor, I agree with Cocaine_Tongue who said that the "journalist" and his editor nedd to be fired. I really can`t understand how someone can be that stupid....

Probably people at kerrang think this article is very well written and done overall, with a great research work behind it.

Kerrang's website has a feedback forum.  There's already a thread pertaining to this article.

 Shocked
well... I'm impressed!   ok

don't understand just about any of the 'technical guitar' terms/talk..... but I love hearin' it anyways! Cheesy

What I'm REALLY looking forward to more than even the RS coverage of CD and GN'R when it comes out is the coverage in GUITAR WORLD.   I love that magazine!  Now that's music journalism  ok

How could they possibly believe Crash Diet to be a new song?

This article is beyond a joke - Kerrang is a laughable publication...

Kerrap's been going to the dogs for a good few years now.  This article is a very good example of why I stopped buying it about 4 years

That would be cool. But how they'll deal with this kind of press if Buckethead is not on the band anymore but his guitar work - I guess - will stay on CD? I mean... every guitar magazine will look for Bucket to say something about this.

ps: do you work for the Guitar World? How do you know about that?

At first, I laughed my ass off when I read this.  But then I thought: "Hey, these are the people that talk shit about new GNR and make fans think that the new guns are shit"

Forget research, a good music journalist shoud know that those songs are old GNR simply by their sound and, of course, recognize Slash's guitar!!!

Slash didn't play in Crash Diet. Also, Just Another Sunday don't have any signature Slash work... Hell, I don't even know if Slash plays on this track.
