was talkin' to my mate Dave about how Buckets left and this ain't gonna be a who should replace Bucket topic or nothing but we got saying, there's an empty space and ol' Izzy ain't up to nothin' with Velvet Revolver like we thought he'd be...

Watching the 'Don't Cry' makin' fuckin videos it's obivious that Axl missed him but how would you feel if Axl asked him back and he accepted??

No thanks! I do not want this to be some kind of nostalgia-thing. Therefore I don't want any of the old members coming back. This is Axls vision and it's about great music, not a big comeback to make big money.
Besides that, it's not gonna happen..

WTF are you talking about man? Axl's vision bla bla bla..... who says that Izzy's return would be about the money? The main reason alot of people are on this board is because of Izzy's songs so shut the fuck up or get your facts straight. He wrote (together with Axl) most of GNR's songs, I bet Axl would love to write with Izzy again......

Well, talk as much as you want then. The main reason people like GNR is because of all the music they've made. Well, alot of that music is written by Izzy, so to me it's just 1+1=2.

well being that Izzy doesn't seem to enjoy touring and the drama of waiting to see if the braided one would show up... Huh

if he did rejoin (barring some major communication break through with Axl), it probably would be out of a financial need...which would be sad no

I'd love it if he came back because he wanted to...but that won't happen in my lifetime...

The songwriting duo of Rose/Stradlin is up there with the likes of Lennon/McCartney.  If Izzy were to rejoin Axl & GNR; I'd kill to hear the music.  That would be the greatest day of my life (Other than seeing GNR from row 1 on Nov 17th, .02.).

I love it when people think any old member returning means "nostalgia" I mean what the fuck??? Its only viewed as a nostalgia act when a band has disbanded and after X years the rejoin to make money via a greatest hits tour or something to that effect.
If they keep making music and being sucessful its hard to see it as nostalgia.
Izzy rejoining would only help seeing as the new GNR stuff is going nowhere for 2 years now.
