buckethead tore it up, that guy completely shreads notes by note simultaneously. robin on the other hand ? ...
i see, good ears? ok very technical advanced but some loss of melody- robin didn't do so bad? Smiley
uhm is tore it up and shreds notes a good thing?

this is my fav solo from buckethead on old gnr so far, very melodic and listenerfriendly-
so cool when he looks up when the fast parts starts...

Fortus rhythm guitar is always low in The Blues chorus, but in the Osaka boot (or Tokyo?) I can hear him better - and his guitar work is awesome!? ok
he's my fav too,? peace exept buckethead, imo rich sounds more bluesy and classic rock, like it? yes
closest to slash soundwise (from the boots) of the guitarist 2 me...

newgnr has a section called shortclips where you can check the solo's played by each? ok

Agreed. His November Rain solo is closer to the original played by Slash than when Finck played the first solo. I liked the Finck version, though.  yes
Can you hear Finck's guitar work in Madagascar while Bucket plays the solo? I think it's really cool. And just after this, he plays some power chords and goes to the ending of Bucket's solo playing some high notes and kick off with the wha-wha riff when Axl starts to sing again. I tried to play as near as possibile like him in my Maddie cover (you can download it HERE - thanks to rnx!).
The 3 guitars line-up rocked so much. Hope they can put someone to replace Bucket and keep their 3 guitar work.  peace

i thought the high notes that lasts long was richard-

- (u usually hear it after held togehter )and a high note is played after and lasts a while b4 rythm prepare you 4 the solo...

after the solo when axl sings again i hear the high notes again, which i though was richard, not?

Yes, this is Richard but I wasn't talking about this. I was talking about when the solo is ending and when Axl starts to sing. Richard does play a riff with high notes, but Finck plays another thing at the same time.

after the solo when axl sings again i hear the high notes again, which i though was richard, not?
Yes, this is Richard, as I said above.

Try the Tacoma or Idaho soundboards. If u don't have the Idaho one, just right click HERE  Wink
If it does not work, try this link: http://s14.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=090M8K68D1JDD08R7G8SGSMIL6
With regular bootlegs, I guess I can only hear it in one of the Leeds audio bootlegs.

Yeah, I love to hear to the bootlegs (sb or not) to search for new details... And this new band has a lot of it!

Don't nitpick on me.... use IM for trivial BS like this.
If you meant something else then you should have said something else.

Aha so much has happened in this thread, but you had to bring things up again. Can't seem to let go can you? ..... Now that's childish.

It sure seems like it.... People with too much time on their hands tend to see problems where there are none.

Oh, that was in another thread.  Grin
Yeah, I'm working on the blues, but I've been so lazy lately...
My hardest work will be learn the Richard's rhythm on the chorus. It's very hard to hear, but I know he's playing something more than power chords... Actually, I can see him playing something different in the bootlegs.
Hey, thanks for downloading my madagascar cover.  Wink

The WTTJ riff? It's Finck!  ok
That's a hard one: who is playing the high notes while Axl sing the chorus in Rhiad?
