im not sure if any of you have seen this, but i was just reading nme and found this information(not that its that exciting really) regarding the village studio in la.

It was an article about oasis new album but then goes onto say this

"For 3 years the studio was the cery space that axl rose and his crew recorded chinese democracy. In one of the bizarre moments staff decided to build buckethead a chicken coop to keep his pets in during the recording. But as for any hints about the long-delayed record, jeff said simply that its an "amazing album" and he expects it to come out soon.

Although it gives us nothing about when, it still excites me to hear such high praise. One day, one day

So it is true that they had a chicken coop for BH in the studio! That alone is exciting enough.
And
"its an "amazing album" and he expects it to come out soon. nme 22 jan 2005
to boot. Cheesy

yeah... thought that was just an urban legend  Grin

and yes... very cool to hear the word 'amazing' being used to describe CD

it'd be cool if we could collect all the (few) quotes we have from people who have heard the new music

My personal favorite was "mind-blowing"... used, I believe by Mr. Diswald Reed in reference to CD  beer

I don't find that very exciting, I think that's plain stupid. Buckethead is a huge dork and I'm so GLAD he left GNR, he is the opposite of cool and rock n roll, he's a MEGA nerd.

I hear The masters of whatever field tend to have nerdish sides. Nerds are far cooler than Fashion victims.

Then again, Who cares cool or not? Keep dancing with so called cool images in vain.

Or maybe he wouldnt say anything at all....and if he felt that way im pretty sure he wouldnt throw the word amazing out there...

but the possibility is always there....maybe hes pulling a VR when they kept telling us about their sleazy dangerous album??? so in that respect you MIGHT  be right....but probably not
