why not?
I answered roughly in my earlier post. Why the very part we focus on is not in "direct narration"?

What could possibly be left to finish on a record that has been at least, oh, a decade in the works? Some vocal  parts and mixes, Stinson said, adding that once the band decides what songs make the final cut, GNR will, oh yes, tour.

Although this isnt good news, all Tommy said last time around regarding the material is that he heard a "few" mixes. Meaning the whole album wasnt mixed. So from that standpoint he isnt lying. I wish he would have eithe rmentioned that some of the vocals werent done at that time or not say the whole it will be out soon. They have been saying that for years.

When I go to the show Im going to ask him about this and the whole issue.

Maybe to throw all of us off? ?Hell who knows? ?Maybe Axl is planning something big? ?If thats the case, I'm sure he doesn't want his bass player spilling the beans before he does.

Spilling what beans?? Tommys already said before that the album is a "hairs breadth" from being finished...either way, its being help up.? Now if its being held up by legal isssues instead of simply being incomplete, why wouldnt Tommy say so?

If you sincerely think hes trying to throw fans, I think you might be in denial.

Yea,

And people who have moved on since GNR's hayday think that ALL of us here are in denial. ?So fuck it, I guess I am. ?And you are too.

HAHAHAHAHA! if they're still recording this piece of crap, then there is no way it's coming out before before june or july...if they finish recording/mixing within the next couple of months, then i'd guess on a late 2005 release - between october and december...

The simple fact of the matter is the album has not been turned over to the record company-NOT GOOD. The Chinese Democracy recording sessions are NOT complete-one album or five albums-it is not complete. At this point I honestly believe that Axl is sitting on a mountain of music that he may not be capable of writing enough quality lyrics and melodies for. Maybe the band is better than him??? Maybe he needs help with his parts? Who the fuck knows. This is sad. I am going to the Atlanta show and am slightly older than Tommy. Maybe he will open up to someone his own age. I will see what I can do. If he gives me some bullshit, I could just take take him outside and rough him up a bit!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It's a serious newspaper. It is the primary newspaper of Tommy's hometown and it serves a metropolitan area. So it's credible.

thanks 4 the article? ok

this is not nessesarly bad at all, the album is prolly done 4 their concern (instrumentally) and axl gonna lay down some last vocals.

could also mean one cd was bein mixed and finalized (when richard said cd was done) and axl wanted finish every "near future" cd's or music coming after the release...
or finsihing possible additional music to the chinese democracy album? Cheesy

-that way he would not need to spend time in a studio again after their first release has runned it's course...

idea? tommy quoted axl and said something about zimmerin and psycological mindgame, dunno the article,
(can we have a exact quote from that)

it's not likely but possible that tommy are limited and has image and commercial responsebillety in regard to gnr and it's managment\buisnesspartners, when he speak publicly, since he is associated to the band by the world...

-so thanks to tommy and co
- the project and future product will look alive (yeah right)? Roll Eyes and have people on an edge durin commercial dead-time? Smiley
(i can't belive he say this if he have no clue so why say this)

most likely coincidence and not intended
- but fun to think about 4 the contrapeople to manic pessimists hihi? Tongue

logically speaking, there's no reason 4 not telling that he has no clue if he has no clue...

either things\delays just happens or the musicians are bein let down by buisnesspeople-
-which may have other intrest than the musicians have confused

they said many times that legal issues holdin back it's release? ok

Quote
common' people, don't be so negative
lol,?? beer
they done recordin and pickin beetween finalised songs or?
... if so, it's a good thing isn't it Cheesy

I think its really safe to say that Tommy Stinson is a tool and a hype..Same old talk, different year..The only reason anyone cares about him (aside from Replacements) is GNR and he knows it..Both him and Dizzy know it.
