Gilby named the album gover for "the spaghetti incident"
gilby was the one who did a solo with slash

Huh  What the hell does that mean?  So what if Gilby named the album.  Izzy was one of the main writers for the band from Appettite to the UYI's.  And what solo are you talking about?  I'm pretty sure Izzy's played his share of solos as well.

Izzy from a song-writing stand point, Gilby from a performance stand piont.

I was just about to post the same.  Grin

As for Steven vs. Matt...Steven was a great drummer in his better days, but he let his drug addictions get in the way of the music. Matt is good drummer also, so i'll go with Sorum on this one. Although I would be extremely interested to hear Steven play the UYI material and see if he could pull it off  Cheesy

I doubt Steven could successfully pull it off, listen to Dead Horse's drumming,  Steven wont be able to pull that off, thats pure talent playing

Yeah, Steve's drumming is so much looser.  Matt is very technical and he gets a little boring at times.  Steve is always switching stuff up.  I prefer drummers who mix it up.
