My personal favorite video from 2004 is Korn's Word Up.

I can watch it over and over ... in fact, I do.  LOL - drives my hubby crazy.

Fall to Pieces is a great vid. Hell, I can't even think of any videos that were released last year. Er... Chewing Gum by Annie? Smiley

If you take into consideration the video AND the song itself, then Vertigo is number 1.

Video only,as gay as is sounds, I kinda like Maroon 5's She will be loved

wow-  this year has been pretty shwag for videos-  not looking forward to the mtv vmas to much again
but after careful research,  these are my favorites for the past year

A Perfect Cirlce all their videos of the year were great - counting bodies like sheep, weak and powerless, blue, the outsider-

jay-z  -  99 problems - cool lookin' old school agressive sound
franz ferdinand - Take me out -   something about this one-  i enjoy watching it

i hav'nt seen korns Word-up, i guess i was out that day they played it

and ludacris's new video is making me laugh,  the one where he has big arms.

here is the list according to rolling stone  (with my comments)

Britney Spears - "My Prerogative"    Why?  is this whats the best?
Eminem - "Just Lose It"          just like most of his other videos  funny=yes, original=no
Usher/Alicia Keys - "My Boo"        crap
Avril Lavigne - "My Happy Ending"  crap
Black Eyed Peas - "Hey Mama"    not a bad song- but crap video for sure
Fabolous - "Breathe (Rolling Stone Original)"   did'nt see it but prolly crappy
 Chingy - "Balla Baby"        boring
Simple Plan - "Welcome To My Life"     cry babies
Jadakiss - "Why (Rolling Stone Original)"    did'nt see it but prolly crappy
Korn - "Word Up"    prolly on good video,  i miss korn

I really Liked Televators by Mars Volta. I've seen the vid a few times on MTV. I haven't seen it in a while though. You may be able to see it here:

http://launch.yahoo.com/ar-302965-videos--The-Mars-Volta

American Idiot was ok.

I liked the Gwen Stefani video as well. Probably the fact that I'm deeply obssesed with this woman's biased my opinion, but man I love Gwen.
