I think April is doubtful but that's just because I'm not going to base my beliefs around some google search. CD will never be released if Axl and the record company are worried about other major releases. That's just silly.

I keep thinking there is the possibility that I will walk in to the record store one day, walk over to the GNR section, and tada! there it is. Wishful thinking. But you never know. And I think April has just been the month to go with. I did a search awhile ago, and the sites I found said "April relase...." and it was for 2001, 2002. So I think April has just been the month to go by, or whatever. I often wonder what I would do when the album does come out, and I've listened to it a million times. I think as long as it comes out, however long it takes, and that was it, I'd be happy. It would suck, but I would be happy.

I wonder how can anyone believe that CD'll be released in April when there are no proofs? I would only believe in a press release, although no way I would be sure. I'll believe that CD will be released when I have it in my hands, go home and turn on my CD player. And in the next fuckin' minute my alarm clock makes me fuckin' frustrated.

I'm just going to wait for it and listen to what I have. I can't be assed to argue about this anymore. I can't be assed to think "well, if there's not been an announcement, then it won't come out then!". I'm just going to sit, and wait. Sure, I'll get pissed off if it doesn't come out in 2005, because I do believe it'll come out this year, but that's not going to stop me waiting. I'll wait as long as it takes, and then when its released, I'll get in my car, drive down to the nearest CD store, go to the rack, pick it up, get a bit teary-eyed, walk up to the counter with it, buy it, walk out of the CD store with it, feel completely awed that I've bought something that I've been waiting for for fucking ever, get even more teary-eyed, get to car, immediately put it in CD player, drive home listening to it at full blast, continue listening, continue listening, while listening realize that there won't ever be a thread on the topic of "How long is Chinese Democracy going to take?" again, feel sense of relief, get more teary-eyed, take CD up to room, put it at the top of the CD holder thing, full blown tears, open laptop, go on this site, post a topic saying exactly how great CD is, go off Internet, go to boyfriend's house, continue weeping, drink cup of tea, watch the 10 hour long DVD of the "Making of Chinese Democracy", cry all through that, drink another cup of tea, get told by boyfriend to stop crying, attempt to stop crying, get asked reason for teariness, say "Because I'm so happy", get an understanding nod and a hug from boyfriend, get out sketch pad, draw a picture of myself holding ChiDem up to the sky and shouting out "FINALLY! ITS HERE! ITS HERE!! AND ITS GREAT!!", post picture on Deviant Art, realize that every other Gn'R fan on DA has posted a similar picture, write journal entry about it, email every world leader type person asking if that day be a holiday known as "Chinese Democracy Day", get replies from all saying "Thankyou for emailing us, we will consider your request", continue sending the email to them until they make that day "Chinese Democracy Day", get exasperated email saying "OK, fine! Today will be henceforth known as "Chinese Democracy Day"", every year celebrate CD Day in Christmas style, buying presents for all!!!

There, that is what I want to happen! Sorry I ran on a bit, I just kept thinking of the next thing I'd do!

Brain doesn't even think he is in the band anymore.  Tommy, Dizzy, and Richard obviously don't know what the hell is going on.  And we have never even heard from Robin or Chris.  I see this whole thing dismantling.  Axl had a big vision, now that vision is slowely fading away.  I'm sorry, but after numerous indications that the album is done and that it may be coming out soon, I'm starting to lose faith.  The word "soon" to me doesn't meen 3 to 4 years.  I honestly believe that this band had intentions on releasing the album a couple of different times over the past year or two, and for some reason or another, it hasn't happened.  I think it might be over.

The new band fading away (admittedly before it really even started) isn't the problem in my opinion.

I always saw each member and whatever talents they had as a "tools" that Axl has used to make the new album.

I remember reading here once that CD was very close to being released and there were posters in the record stores etc. But at the last moment it was cancelled... Now there wasn't any promo around that time was there? It just kinda happened. That's what I think is going to happenif CD gets released.
So to be honest, when it happens is anyone's guess...

ITS NOT COMING IN APRIL.  Axl and Geffen need this cd to sell good so they dont become the biggest joke in record history.  GnR, like it or not, is no longer the biggest band in the world.  They will have to shoot a video, plan tv appearences, and a huge promotional effort (in my opinion) that is close to what U2 did for their last album.  They did commercials for there songs, played SNL, made a deal with ipod, Streamed their album on MTV/VH1. Many tv appearences. This is the same stuff GnR will have to do and that will take more then just a few weeks.


CD will not be out in April or May.   Geffen will want to market this thing like crazy to make money on it after all they have invested into it.

2004 .. dudes I just heard a recording of the first single from chinese democracy!!!! it played on this unkown radio station in Nepal for like 10 seconds it sounded amazing!! The album must be getting a release date in April for sure!!

If your looking for clues to the album release, you need to see some Gnr/Axl activity first. Until that happens dont expect the imminent release of CD. They wont release it while Axl continues to sit in his mansion. Axl will need to show hes more active like as if hes actually in a rock band.
