Probably. And that he is not agressive,? this must be a point too. Well, I would not like to judge anyone, but I can't think it's healthy to be in a relationship basically laying on wealth and comfort. Am I wrong??
It is healthy is that's all you've ever known. Stephanie has all this luxury at just 15, living with Elite's modelling agency's boss Casablancas. She then also had her own money, travelled around the globe, getting used to luxury and a certain status.
She also probably gained some form of culture and it's no surprise she went for elder men, eventually settling down and marrying one.
Don't forget what a lot of models go through to get a career and keep it :
They are getting sold to " clients" in Milan or elsewhere, they are being given drugs and booze to stay happy, they become anorexic to keep what they are used to and are too young to realise that what they have is not that important.
Then, they meet men who? want to " fuck some model". Yep. Men who want to meet them BECAUSE they are models, not because they have a heart of gold or a high intellect.
Once more, they are .... flesh...unimportant, screwable and throwable flesh. A good, good for someone else's ego.
What happens ? They start acting with men the way men treatED them.
The " i am going to make you pay for wanting me" sort of thing. Self loathing and loathing all creatures of a gender that uses and abuses women.
So what's next ?
An older man, fantastically reassuring, with enough money so the " i am still romantic you know" model can settle down, have kids and not necessarily sex because a lot of " old" models don't even like sex.
They may not be in some passionate relationship, they may not have a good sexual relationship, but they have found a protective man, one who has had all the sex in the past, one who has done all the things a younger man could want to do, one who will give them everything and be so besotted that they won't have to give their soul in return.
I don't particularly like the SS character. I don't understand how her parents let her live with a man ( casablancas) that the law almost everywhere would call pedophile, i don't understand what led her towards him, i don't understand why she let herself have so many men around her son and so on, but what i do understand comes from me knowing many models and learning about their secrets.
It's an awful life. Full of rape, prostitution, loss of illusions and wanting to go to the top for not losing all this for nothing.
So what's wo wrong wanting to be in a cocoon afterwards ? Being able to buy tranquility and peace of mind ?
