while i was in london celebrating the new year i purchased a dvd at HMV. it's called SEX N' DRUGS N' ROCK N' ROLL and it's about guns n' roses. i've seen it and i don't like a lot. it's unauthorised and the guys who made it picked up some people who call themselfs "the insiders". they know them personally and talk about their rise and fall etc.
half the people on the dvd, let's take as an example, two ugly girls, talk about guns n' roses, and who the fuck are they to them? i don't think that those two girls have anything to do with guns n' roses and then they say things like: "oh, the sphagetti incident? let's just forget about that one..." i mean, one of them is a singer and i've never heard of her, and she thinks she can comment on TSI?
and there was this guy from a magazine who defended axl too much. he said that axl was guns n' roses, that they sucked as musicians but that they had a good on-stage act and that axl deserved more than anyone in the group and if the rest of the band-members couldn't see it than guns n' roses deserved to brake-up. i mean, what kinda shit is that?
and those two girls said axl was a great singer and that slash was cool cuz of his hair? and of course, none of them mentioned how slash was a fantastic guitar player...
okay, so anyway, if any of you have seen the dvd as well, please post a comment. am i the only one who feels this way?
