strange conversation with a gnr fan
«

I was online playing a game today. One of the guys on there says he knows Axl and the rest of GNR. According to him, Axl has two houses, one in Cali and one in Michigan. He knows Axl well. His uncle is a bodyguard and works for Slash. This guy is in a biker club that meets in Michigan every month. Uh huh.
And supposedly the next time he is in Michigan, he is going to try to see if Axl is there, and talk to him. I am NOT making this up.

I don't think that is correct, but who am I to say. On the other hand, he use to own land here in Wisconsin, not far from me.
(I know that for a fact, sense he had a little problem with the taxes, they were being sent to his old accountant and they were not forwarding it to him.)
But I was told he sold it a few years ago.

was that where he's from?
anyways, he moved to his father in LA when he was like 11-12 so I don't think he's that tight of a connection to Michigan.

Since we're sort of on this subject, I'll say that go out and buy the book "Scar Tissue" by Anthony Keidis. You won't be able to put it down until it's finished. What a great book. I don't understand why it wasn't a huge book. It should have been promoted.

gnr-man202, That is not a rumor. It is a fact. Axl did own land in Wisconsin. sorry I can't post anything to prove that, but it was even in the papers here, when he had the little tax problem. He took care of it right away. The land was on Lake Geneva. I heard from people who lived there, that he sold it do to problems with the communtiy, something to do with what he wanted to build there. (dont know if that is true though).

After all, there's a new BMW, a new condo,
a parcel of land in Wisconsin
on which he plans to build his dream house and, of course, the adoration of millions.

Because of all of the silliness that can sometimes happen. It's really hard to trust anyone online these days, but I'm not someone to fabricate stories. I just thought it was odd. It sounds far-fetched, and sure I laughed when he told me. But I can't say if he's right or wrong. I just thought it was an interesting tibit to share, seeing as there's not much else to do.
