axl impersonater on howard stern

i was watching howard stern and they had an axl impersonater on the show, but he didnt get to say much, so i was wondering if anyone had heard the radio show and knew if he was funny

Seen him quite a number of times on Stern.  While the guy looks sorta like Axl, he doesn't sound like him at all, which is why he stays mostly "mum".  He's been on the big Vegas Shows a bunch of times...that seems to be when he gets the most airtime, though he does come in the studio every once in a blue moon, too.

I wouldn't exactly call him funny, either.  Kinda boring, actually.  He just looks like Axl...

I know they are doing reruns right now on Stern.  Is this a very old show?  I ask because I listen to Stern every day, usually the whole show, and I've never heard an Axl impersonator.  Or even heard them talk about one.

i dont listen to the show so i have never heard how the impersonator sounds, i was just watching it on tv and he was on there, it was in vegus so i know it was a rerun, i think from the summer?

They go to vegas about once a year.  Its possible it was this year, I just think I would have noticed if they mentioned axl  at all.   Was it a show with Artie or Jackie?  Or did you notice?

The only time I am aware of a Axl impersonator was on the 2004 Las Vegas show. He  goes by the name of "Asshole Rose". He looks and sounds  nothing like Axl. Asshole was playing a game of Hollyweird Squares against a dragqueen Tina Turner. The segment was only about a half an hour long. If I remember right Asshole got beat in the game... I dont know where you can get the audio from the show but you can watch E! for the replay. They are airing the 2004 Vegas trip this week. Here is the schedule.

Thank you.  If I think about it, I will check it out.  I rarely watch the E show.  Personally I think the radio show is about 500 times better.  But if the segment was that short its entirely possible I missed it on the radio.  I have to turn it down when certain people come into my office.  But I'm curious to see the axl impersonator.

saw him....he looks nothing like axl....infact stuttering John looks more like Axl than the impersonator.
