All i'm trying to say is that is a dream tour for myself. Chances are if you're from North America you know fuck all about Oasis other than Morning Glory. I suggest buying definately maybe and putting on track 8 and you will know what the Gallaghers are all about. GnR and Oasis both stand up for good music and they've both replaced everybody in their bands with better players and kept the core of their bands intact with GnR retaining Uncle Axl and Oasis retaining Noel and Liam.

yeah "definitely maybe, their 1st album," is really fantastic too. I love the opening track "Rock n' Roll Star"...their glory was already written with that opening track.

Oasis are a good band and their music is pretty nice. Morning Glory is an outstanding album. But they wouldn't open for GNR nor would they fit the bands style because their music is not heavy enough. NIN are a crap band. Industrial blows. Just because Axl likes it doesn't mean every rocker like that stuff either. Remember when NIN did open for NIN and got booed out for doing so? Guess it'd be almost the same again. Beside from that...hehe...should Finck play a double show on these nights?

People on this board who really think some big bands like Oasis would open for GNR are just dreamers. But hey...if Oasis denies the opening spot why not ask the Rolling Stones instead?

Oasis would be a mistake. i've seen them once, headlining a festival, some time ago. everyone was eager t osee them finally - it was like 23 or 23.30, everyone was excited. but 10 min after the start everyone was pissed, because oasis were bored. it almost seemed that they didn't want to play. the worst band live ever!!!

hopefully Muse or Placebo would play, these bands rock!

I would love to see Oasis, GN'R and NIN.  I've seen Oasis and GN'R but never NIN.  I don't know who would headline though?  I think they would all have to switch every night because all of them have had success.  Oasis is coming out with a new cd this spring.  Hopefully, it is as good as their last one.

While i dont know much about Oasis except the two songs that were really big here in america but i absolutly hate NIN.  I would rather listen to Metallica's St. Anger, which i bought then threw away after i listened to it, then listen to anything they have put together.

If GN'R tour with Oasis, I will burn all my GNR stuff and never speak of them again.
That's how much I hate that fucking joke of a band, The Beatles have been and gone we don't need a kareoke rip off version of them.

Die, die, die  rant

As always just my opinion.

If Oasis were to tour with GNR it would be as co headliners and Oasis would open the show and GnR would close. For those of you who don't believe that Oasis would do this let me inform you that they did the Brotherly Love tour over here in North America with the Black Crowes and Oasis went on first every show, and that's how the Gallaghers preferred to do it. That way they could play and then get pissed and watch the Crowes play. So you gotta think that if they were willing to go on before the Crowes who are no where near GnR popularity they would be willing to open for Axl.

I?d rather see the real greats of various styles dissimilar to each other than similar bands different in degree.

I was thinking of my dream tour for next year and it would be this, a bill with Oasis, NIN, and of Course GNR. 3 of the only bands left who are in it for the music and have that fucking badass fuck you if you don't like our shit attitude.
Cor,  that?s too good to be true.

Axl's ego VS the Gallagher Brothers' ego would very likely lead to a fight backstage.

I think the Gallagher brothers would be too busy fighting against each other to pick on Axl Grin

A good idea would be a Queen/GNR tour, with Bucket and Brain replaced by Brian May and Roger Taylor

Trent Reznor might do Axl a favor and let him tour with Nin... you people are crazy if you think Axl has more musical talent than Trent Reznor. In fact, Axl nuthugs Trent Reznor.

I dont like all NIN music, but Closer fucking rocks. Axl probably would kill to write Industrial songs like that.

Oasis are a great band, what the hell... stop calling them names or saying they're trying to copy The Beatles (another great band as well  Tongue )

i don't kknow if them touring together with GN'R would be such a good idea...duh...the Gallaghers vs. Axl => Massacre  hihi

it's very unlikely for'em to agree on any kinda tour together (most of the reasons have already been posted)

I wouldn't like this tour to happen. I don't like NIN and though I used to like Oasis a while back, I find them quite boring. Every song is similar to one another, maybe because Liam's voice just doesn't have more choices.
