Did anyone hear it?  Did it even come out?  I heard that it was going to be on his greatest hits.

I think Slash did some uncredited guitar work on Eazy's 1995 album "Str8 of Tha Streets Of Muthafuckin' Compton."

I don't think Axl ever worked with him and if he did it's never been heard.

Really? I have that Eazy E album, I don't remember much if any guitar at all on that album. Definately no Slash sounding stuff on there, I'm gonna give that album another spin now!
As for the Axl/Eazy E collabo, I know Axl was a fan of N.W.A. and I believe I read somewhere Axl wanted to work with Eazy E/N.W.A. on a track but they declined. I also read somewhere that N.W.A. were fans of G'N'R and were to record a cover of 'Welcome to the Jungle', How true that is I do not know. N.W.A. did have a song called 'Appetite 4 Destruction' tho  yes

Just did a bit of digging and found Slash himself in a 1996 webchat saying he did play on the Eazy E album.

Quote:
19:00:30) Linda : Did you play on the last Eazy-E album and the Beverly Hills Cop III soundtrack?
REPLY: (19:10:10) zloz says to Linda: Yes, I did but I never heard the Eazy -e album but I did play BHC #3

crying rofl well, I guess he was sort of right.... I just thought this was funny, since Slash then left GNR like 4 months after this chat

"Easy E" died from AIDS in 1994-1995, I cant recall.  N.W.A is the greatest Rap Group of all time.  If they had ever made a remix of WTJ, it would have been greatness!  "Straight out of Compton" should be for this generation what Peter Framptons "Frampton comes Alive" was for the 1970's kids.

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

it's always funny to hear slash playing on rap cds easy e and the other video he was in was it black street and fishbone?  not to mention Michael Jackson.  then Slash didnt want to take gnr in a new direction.  Axl was the bad guy for wanting a more current sound.  But slash was on easy e's cd.  Its so fucking retarded.
