The band and Interscope have come to a decision. For a few months now, the band has had its eyes on mid-February and Interscope was pushing for January or April (why the two month gap!?). A decision has been made for a March release. I have been told an announcement would be made by the first week of January. However, I believe an announcement within the next two to four weeks is more plausible.

Lastly, I realize that my posts cause many of you frustration, which is why I have decided that this post will be my last. I will now be HTGTH.COM's #1 observer.

 

Merck is on holiday till 14th January therefore I find it very unlikely we'll get an announcement from him until then. Who knows though maybe you're right... There was a rumour circulating the VH1 board that Laurie Earl (the band spokeswoman from 2001 - dunno whether she's still employed by the band) had said that after discussions with Geffen April would be the release date. There are a lot of other factors outside of the band which determine when the album will come out and I firmly believe the album has been finished since November at least. Maybe we'll see it in early 2005, maybe we won't... Your guess is as good as mine Sticky... But we certainly won't get an announcement while Merck's on holiday, so rather than making up bullshit like this rumour, why not look into the facts and make up something plausible.
