Just a few questions aout Dizzy.
I know that he was around the LA scene and knew guns in the late 80's and Axl promised him some day he would consider hiring him. However was it Axls decision on his own or were the others up for it too? Did the other guys mind him coming in? Was he around always as one by one by one the others left or did he drift away and return again at some stage?

I think the whole story about how Dizzy came into the fold is on the Making the Videos:Dont Cry VHS. If memory serves me correctly, Dizzy was a struggling musician and Axl took him under his wing when the Illusion sessions called the need for a keyboardist.

I remember reading a few articles at the time that Dizzy joined the band which stated that Duff and Slash weren't happy about Dizzy because he wasn't a very good musician and not really up to the standard that GN'R needed.

I was pretty disappointed when Dizzy joined, the last thing that a hard rock band needs is a keyboard player but since Axl wanted to become elton john there really wasn't alot the other guys in the band could do.

IMO Dizzy is not anywhere near what GNR represents to me.Nothing personal, but the fact is he has done nothing in means of contributing to the band. All he did was played on others ppl songs. And he obviously means nothing without the MAN.
