Axl or Slash? who is the most impressive on stage?

I don't really know.
As far as guitarists go, Slash is really impressive on stage, but Axl is really cool too.
I'd probably say Axl, but Slash still ROCKS though.

I disagree. He's very much the showman and his presence is fuckin immense, even if its not as big as Axl's, as far as guitar players go....

During the AFD era, I'll say Axl. He really was lightning in a bottle at that point. Then, I'll say Slash became more impressive during the Illusons as I felt he really carried those shows & Axl was quite frankly an embarressment at that point. Nowadays, it's not even close. Axl is total fucking joke, were as Slash is still the man. I'm not bagging on Axl, it's just my opinion of how things were/are.

Axl took stage presence to another level.  Slash is very cool on stage, and has great presence in his own way, but Axl demands your attention.  I'd say for a guitarist Slash does a lot of moving and stuff, but Axl is the best.

You're right Mike.  You really can't compare a frontman with a guitarist.  The frontman is usually supposed to be the center of attention, that's why he's called the frontman.

that's hard to say. with a guitar you have so many strings and frets that any variation can be made. it's hard to get such a varied range. although axl does manage to keep the goods coming when it comes to performing.

Hard question to answer due to the fact that they are both playing a seperate role.  Surely Axl is the most awesome on stage as a frontman, however Slash's guitar playing is so overwhelming you can't help it your just drawn to him..  I don't think it is really Slashes stage presence for me, it's the music that he pours out of his guitars.  Watching him makes me wish i has been given that god given talent.  I Love watching him perform, he is so into it, sometime you catch him so lost in the moment, and then all of a sudden it's like he awakens and gets back into reality.

Slash is really awesome on stage, but vocals are tougher live, especially when keeping a strong stage presence. Axl kept the crowd rocking and still kept his voice dead-on pitch, so I would give Axl more credit for being a better stage player. The combination of the two of them is really dynamic.
