Welcome back.
My first concert was when I was 16. It was GN'R in Stockholm on August 16th 1991. Awesome.
It was one of those package deals with the bus trip and a ticket.
My first concert outside Sweden was on September 1st 2004. The Mark Lanegan Band in London. It was fucking awesome.

My first concert was Neil Young & Crazy Horse, in Berlin Germany, sometime in June 2001, I believe. I was freshly 15, but I went with my parents, because they really like Neil Young and they were the ones who bought the tickets. The Black Crowes opened, and they were alright. Neil played a great show, even though I didn't know as many of his songs back then. Those old guys make a hell of a lot of noise. Although the show was great, it was a little dull/awkward watching the concert with my parents. We were sitting in the upper-mid section of an ampitheatre, and this guy in front of us was standing up and going crazy, but everyone else was going crazy and my dad asked him politely if he could do that in the main aisle. Back to the show itself. The highlight for me was this song called "Piece Of Crap", which was a hilarious, furious rocker live but disappointing in its studio version. The lowlight was this 20 minute feedback thingie at the end. What the hell was that? Still, I probably enjoyed it more than my parents. They're more into the soft, acoustic Neil Young songs, while I like equally the loud, brazen garage rockers. But anyway, it was a good concert, even if the crowd was older and not as energetic as other concerts I've been to.
Starting with my next concert (front row at The Strokes), though, I went with friends instead and was able to go completely crazy each time.

My dad took me to Beach Boys concert. It was summer and they played in park called Kaivopuisto, Helsinki. I think it was 1993.

A + Goldfinger at the Birmingham Academy a few years back, the vocalist in A tore a ligament mid way through the set, but in true rock n' roll style finished the set, albeit from a chair.

Metallica at continental airlines arena when I was 12. They opened with "so what" which is one of my favorite songs ever when they do it. I don't care what you think of the new material they put on a fucking great show then and they put on a great show now.

My first concert was Our Lady Peace in 1999, so I guess I was 14 at the time. At the time they were my favourite band, and since I had nothing to compare it too, I thought it was the greatest concert ever. I'm curious what I would think of it if I saw the same show now.
The last one I went to (not counting a handful of local concerts) would have been Velvet Revolver this past summer. The first concert I saw in another country was Eminem in Detroit (@ Ford Field). 70,000 people, it was a pretty big show.

A Finnish band called Apulanta, in 96 or 97.It was a mini-festival type of a thing, not a real concert. I was busy getting my stupid 13 year old ass drunk though, i really didn't go? because of the band.
First "real" concert was HIM at 98.
Best gig ever would be mr. Bowie last summer in Provinssirock.

I dunno.
The first band who had a record deal I saw was Irish pop-punkers, Co.Uk, who were awesome (Better at the Leeds fest a couple of years later though), and then Reef.

My first 'real' concert was a two day outdoor festival in 97 or 98 (not sure which.....
)....
The bands that I remember are:
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Heart
Steppenwolf
Toronto
Headpins
Gravel-Pit Campers
Biscuit
Peter Frampton
Foreigner
Pat Benitar......
There were more....but I can't remember...........
Anyway, it was fucking amazing..............we were up on the security railing for the whole two days (excluding potty breaks).............and I have a Mick Jones (Foreigner) guitar pick, a Steppenwolf drumstick, and some great ROCK N' ROLL memories to show for it........
One more thing.........Chris Misfit smells like boiled potatoes.................

My first concert was Green Day. My friend won tickets at a bar the night before. The concert was sponsored by Molson so everyone there was allowed to drink as much Molson as they wanted for FREE!!! It was great.

Kiss Symphony in Mlebourne in febuary 2003. Good concert. There more like entertainers than performers live because of their pyrotechnics and so forth.
