Did Axl cross out some of the skulls of on his ARM Tatoo?

Hey I saw on another Message Board , someone said AXL crossed out the SLASH skull and the rest of the other band members skulls on his CROSS TATOO? on? his arm ? ?

 Any one know If there is any truth to this




I tried to search the forum with the search bar to get any topics related to this

Yeah what gives with the stupid search bar.
But I remember seeing that his arm has all the skulls besides his (of course) blacked out with black ink.
It really sucks because it only makes him self seem even more of a loner.

Here is what I think AXL needs
"Since the old GnR can't seem to get along,
And for what ever reason he doesn't want to release The Chinese Democracy.

He needs to just put together the The Baddest Rockin Metal, Thrash Band and Rock like there is no tomorrow , Thats how GnR Started , with that kinda attitude, and thats what he likes to do and thats what he's good at,
and just Have Fun Making Tunes?

You can see the face isn't BLACK on the end.. Things with detail so close together fade after 17 years, the forearms?get slot of sun, I have 7 tats/

As Mikegiuliana said!!! They fade and blend together.Also, he has redone them several times and that takes away the detail.

it wasn't till after that show VR came out and the GnR music  Law suite, when VR claimed he wanted to re-record  GnR songs to cutt the others out of the profit ,

You redo tattoos to make them brighter. Everytime you redo them they lose clarity. I have several and have had them a long time, if you want to keep them bright, you have to redo them.

May I point out that the cross tattoo use to be purple, the mistake he made was making it black, it looks like the black was to heavy and damaged the rest of the tat.

I have had for five years and been heavily exposed to the sun, and the black faded a bit, and some details became unfocused,

so the tattoo shop wanted to rewrite(or re-do) some of mine to fix it, but we didn't change em'

If axl changed his it should be different, but if he only repaired it with re-doin it-

shouldn't it make it clearer and more focused? If it's not too strecthed and old

Just use common sense, they fade, the forearm is alsways out in the sun, also why would anyone take a nice piece oif art (history a matter of fact) and just color the thing black, it would look so fucking stupid.. Everyone is making axl out to be really shallow..

Depends on a lot of things. The ink that was used the first time, was probably not the best quality. This would cause the colors to bleed. I think thats what happened.
Everytime you ad ink your going to loss the original detail.

remember that so detailed tats as that changes a lot after 15-30 years, + the skin changes

Every tattoo I have is at least ten years old, a few are 12 years old... They lose the sharp deatail,and even older ones not onlty fade but start to blend into one big mess..

It wouldn't suprise me if each face would soon begin to blend into one and look more like a solid color which would eliminate the detail and make it look like one piece..

In the pic I posted you can clearly see blonde hair so it's NOT painted black, we just didn't see axl in such a long time that the tattoo wasn't as sharp as we remembered..

When Axl was interviewed by Kurt Loder after the 2002 VMAs, you could CLEARLY see the tattoo was all blacked out.? Maybe he just did it for that night, maybe he didn't.? I don't know, and I don't care.? But fact is, it was all blacked out.? It wasn't just 'faded" or "not as sharp", it was all blacked over.? Watch the damn VMAs again and you'll see it.

It showed me exactly what I said, it's faded and belnded into a messy blob.. If it was just black you wouldn't see the blonde hair in the skull, or the blue or the red in axl's piece.... You make it sound like you saw the tattoo get worse over the years, this is over ten years.. We last saw the tat in like 92, then we see it again in 2002 up close..
