hey man, music, clubbing, attendin shows and stuff surrondin music can be the entire life for some people,
better than a 9-4 life and always has the need to say "i have a life"
lots here has gotten the idea that cd is around the corner for a time and looks for update on the matter,
that don't qualify for not having a life,
and they sure at the record store or downloading music and media anytime availebale,
dosen't make anyone social geeks or computer nerds, and if someone who is handicapped or something and uses music entertainment to have some meaning... stay away!
Nothin wrong with that
musiclovers is always looking for new stuff... and gets sad if their favs dies, postponing or stuff like that occurs
if you don't care... ok peace, but every country, news, reporter, mag, tv station, fans shows a lot of interest and care about it
it's a loss if we misses it imo, and thats not something that won't affect me in some way
Norway: I can appreciate how many people live and breathe music (clubbing, going to shows, etc...). That isn't the point I was trying to make.
This album (Chinese Democracy) has become legendary simply by the amount of time it has taken to issue it. I can also understand the desire to want to hear something that has had the world on it's collective ear for some time. There is nothing wrong with believing the cd release is right around the corner, and looking for updates. Again, that isn't my point.
My point is that if you consider it a loss to not have it, or if you want something that someone else has to provide to you, then there is something there that you need to examine. The value of your life then becomes so defined by the actions and the behaviors of someone else. That's called vicarious existence. And that's my point.
I don't live my live vicariously through the belief that the album chinese democracy will one day become a reality. When/if it is a reality, I will be happy to purchase it. Until that time, I am happy to be a fan of the music GNR has provided the world.
