It's better to burn out than to fade away...

9. Downbound Train by Bruce Springsteen

YES! That would be perfect.

I would hate to see another Guns N' Roses cover album, because it would say that Axl does not consider his original material strong enough.  Eddie Van Halen once said, "I'd rather bomb with my own material than make it with somebody else's", but I guess GN'R have always been big on covers.

Well, if there absolutely HAD to be another covers album, these would be my picks for songs:

1. Sucker Train Blues
2. Do It For The Kids
3. Big Machine
4. Illegal i Song
5. Spectacle
6. Fall To Pieces
7. Headspace
8. Superhuman
9. Set Me Free
10. You Got No Right
11. Slither
12. Dirty Little Thing
13. Loving The Alien
14. I Want You Back

It might send a subtle message of reconciliation to Slash, Duff, and Matt.   Grin

Since we're gonna be waiting a long time for chinese democracy, maybe Axl should do another spaghetti incident. Maybe call this one the 'meatball coincidence'. With the following tracks:
 Seasons in the Abyss- Slayer
 Crazy-Seal
Thats just the Way it is Baby-Rembrandts
 King of Dreams-Deep Purple
 Harlem Schuffle- The Stones
 A Room with a View-Death Angel
 Holy Wars- Megadeth
 My My Hey Hey-Neil Young
 Smoking Gun- Robert Cray
 Bonechina-Mother Love Bone
 Dog and Butterfly-Heart
 Get Back- The Beatles
 Wont Get Fooled Again-The Who
If Axl would release this, I might be able to wait another year or two for chinese democracy. I also believe Axl could pull off singing these songs!! If Axl were to release a spaghetti 2, what do you guys think the album should be??

I'm either too young to know most of these songs, or 80% of them just flat out suck.

I think saying 80% of them suck is somewhat generous - they all suck. If GNR wanted to cover rubbish they don't need to go look to really obscure songs to achieve it......

I`d rather have new music first, but wouldn`t mind a Spaghetti 2 by the new band to tide me over.

Some of the songs you picked for Axl to cover are hilarious. 3 little pigs?? C`mon!

anyone that says Axl doesnt have enough good songs "even for an ep" is a fucking moron.  We've heard 5 good songs already and we have heard a few more described like Prostitute and General.  So people should really shut the fuck up.

the songs axl4prez picked for a cover album are awesome!! anyone who said those songs are lame have very bad taste in music. Hell, i bet Axl has at least half those albums in his stereo. axl singing 'seasons in the abyss' or 'Bonechina' would be mindblowing!!!!
