We are going to be designing a greeting card for the band for the holidays.
I propose that we do a Christmas tree... with the GN'R star logo topping it off - of course.
All board membes are invited to contribute ornaments for the tree.
If you'd like to create an Axl Santa... or would like to perhaps create Robin as Jack Frost for example....
or Dizzy as a Snowman - there are just some examples - feel free to improvise and create as you will....
Or if you want to submit a pic of a band member to be made into the shape of a shiny ball...
(Note:? Former members of the band will not be included)
I was thinking the garland could be song titles and lyrics - preferably from the new songs
Your ideas are welcome.? This is going to be board member project.
The "gifts" under the tree could be stuff that would be something you as a fan, would give to the band or any band member.
Or the gifts under the tree could be just gift boxes wrapped in paper that has words/messages printed on 'em...
... again, everyone's constructive input is welcome.? Share your ideas
Note:? I just know that at least one of you, as you read this, is thinking "Can we put (insert name of guitarist) under the tree?"

Submit your ornament/idea to me via e-mail.? We will do our best to include everyones ornament/idea, but there will be design constraints to consider.
There will be a cut-off date for submissions - It's already December 1st and we want to get this up before Christmas and once the design elements are all collected, it will take some time to assemble it.
What form the finished project takes is up to you guys.? I do not know how to make flash/animation or anything more complex than what can be done with Photoshop.
(I made the above image in Photoshop so you all could understand what I mean by 'greeting card for the band'...
Also, I thought it would be cool to have a temporary Greeting posted here for them right away.)
If one of you know how to make flash/animation and would like to work on this project - that would be really cool.
We also need to come up with and design the actual wording/lettering to appear on it.
At this point, let me know if you want to get involved and to what extent - let me know what you can contribute.
Once its completed, It will be posted for all board members to 'sign'.

By all means, fee free to link this thread at the other forums and message boards.
