Where will Axl & Slash meet again?

When the nu-GNR eventually break out fully Axl should finally be out and about in the music biz scene again.
Can you put forward possible times/scenarios when we should watch for the 'Axl & Slash path cross' ?
VMAs? A Rock N Roll Hall of Fame cermony? Charity Fund Raisers??? Talk Show? Gig? etc.
Do you think they would talk to each other? Be civil?
Would you visualise a Gilby situation where Axl would suddenly show up somewhere and they'd talk???
Slash indicated that he's get up and play with Axl if asked, if Axl was secure with the success of the new band do you think he's ever relax enough to alow it like VH and Diamond Dave tried?
Once Axls back out you KNOW people will always be trying to get them to meet to see what happens.
My dream scenario would be to see them in a public debate, with trained mediators etc to discuss what happened with the band. Could the ice be broken?
I am not worried about a reunion but it still saddens me that old Thunder (Slash) and Lightening (Axl) are not communicating.

J/K. Who knows though? Maybe they have already and nobody knows about it. Its nice to think that maybe they're [still?] good friends, but just can't work together on a "professional" basis.

I was at that gig.  I remember everyone saying Slash was there and kicked out as soon as Axl's people found out.  Must be some beef left that's un-settled between the two.  I think maybe Axl will show up in Vegas this year and try to regain his spot at the Hard Rock Hotel New Years of 2005.

From what I can remember, Axl knew nothing of it till later on.  Gnr's management found out and took care of it before it reached Axl......They wanted Slash to not show up incase Axl saw him and freaked or anything and left the stage.

Slash: He's doing really good. I signed him up for karate a little while back and he has really thrown himself into it. He asks about you from time to time.

Axl: And what might that be?

Axl: No I guess not. So the whole new group is really working for you huh?
Slash: Yeah it is...I'm very content.
Axl: But are you happy?
Slash: I don't know..I mean yeah I am. Scott is really good to me. My life is much more stable now.
