Does anyone know a decent talkbox that i can buy? (Heil is too expensive)... I've heard that u can build ur own talkbox... What's the deal with that? Finally, in which songs does Slash use one? Thx

theres a danelectro talk box that i think is cheaper.

slash uses a talkbox in dust n bones i think

and one of the tracks off of appetite, i think anything goes.

i also dream of having a talk box but i don't think i have the damn extravagant setup needed for it anyway.

listen to some peter frampton, he uses the talkbox all the time, or motley crue's kick start my heart, or even foo fighters generator.

Slash used a talkbox on Anything Goes, Dust N' Bones only live and on Snakepit's It's Five O'Clock Somewhere the song Lower, he used the Talkbox the most on Lower

Haven't you seen him live? Rocket queen for example, he use the talkbox on that song.

I know what it sounds like... I know Aerosmith uses it in 'Sweet Emotion'. Just wasn't sure which songs Slash did with a talkbox
