Changes in how board is set up

I've made the following changes recently to how this board works:

- Only logged in members can access the board.

- Search is unavailable for regular users.


I hope these changes are only temporary and that the server issue will be fixed soon so that I can put back the above settings to how they used to be.

you just want to keep track of who's online at what times

i am joking people.

actually jarmo, i like it better this way.  that way no one can access your board and copy and paste rumors to other sites unless they are registered.

Yeah I looked for years and years and am just a lazy G&R fan that never took the time to sign up but, it does feel like a portion of my life is complete now.

I like it, because I often used to read through a couple of threads, contemplate replying, but then decide not to, because I couldn't be bothered to sign in. But now I have to sign in just to browse, so when I want to post I post. It's better this way

True, but I've also deleted a bunch of people who registered two years ago and never logged in.

That's probably a wise thing to do.

I remember asking you what you did with the people who never posted a while back...

Any update on this? Kinda miss the search function..

It won't be back until the problem is fixed. 

It slows down the whole board. Sometimes to the point that the board, as well as the rest of the site, becomes impossible to use.
