It's all very well people saying get Slash back, but Slash has moved on, he's in a new band Wink

I bet a million dollar on it that if they work out their differences Slash would get up there with GNR.

I wouldn't get a replacement either. 2 guitarrists are enough imo.

If they insisted on a 3rd (I think they're good w/Finck N' Fortus)

1. Jerry Cantrell
 or

2. Zakk Wylde

It?s a matter of charisma and skill. I think Gilby?s possesses both and furthermore he?s got a GNR-history in the 90?s along with Axl. The talk about "Slash going back" should be a discussion whether a reunion of GNR is possible and not about the present Axl-Rose-Band !!? Sad

i don't know who would be the right guitarist for GN'R. But I Think it would be amaizing to saw Angus Young playing on the stage with Axl.  Just for that one time.  Because Angus & Axl are both so energized show-men, it would be intersting to see.   Cool

they should bring someone new up, there are tons of outstanding guitarist out there trying to prove a point. I think it would sweet to see someone new get a chance to tear it up!

What we've heard so far only requires 2 guitar players, but we haven't heard the other material. It sounds like Axl has created a sound that would require 3 players. Just trying to back up the guy, if he thinks he needs 3, then go and get one Axl!!

Ya know who I think should be Buckethead's replacement? NUNO BETTENCOURT!!! He fucking rules! Has anyone heard his guitar playing in Extreme? Especially the song Play With Me which is on their first album, and on the Best Of album too. It kicks MAJOR ass!
I say again...... NUNO BETTENCOURT!!!
If they can't get him, then Steve Vai or Tony Iommi.

There are two guitarists that I would love to see back with Axl. Lead Gutarists: Slash.   Rythem Guitarist: Izzy.  It's a dream, but never say never.
