Pretty cool show. I've missed all the other V.R. appearances on t.v. so I made sure I was at home for this one. It's nice to be able to see a kinda "behind the scenes" of a band you really like. And those kinda bands are very far and few between. My favorite part was when Scott was late and Duff and Slash are trying to get in touch with him. Slash makes the remark...."Singers"....with a sarcastic grin. I thought that was pretty funny. |

i don't think there can really be any doubt about the overall lameness of Matt. and to echo whoever said it in a different thread, he DOES have the front-man complex.
duff is a tremendous individual. he and slash (and dave) just seem like such fucking cool guys. it was a great show, incredibly (and i think appropriately) complimentary.
the one thing i am so curious about. how the fuck does Duff get to that level physically and smoke??!!!
i have some semblance of how hard he works out (he detailed it in a magazine last month) and it exceedes my abilities (as a former smoker) to know how he does it.

Yeah well I think he will always be mentioned, most people cant understand how such a good band went downhill so quickly. I personally think its good, maybe by persistance Axl will someday wake up from this trance in china he is in and bring back GNR. |
